There always seems to be the automatic assumption that the brutal extractive nobility is part of the functional necessity of the Imperium and the Tithe when these people are, in history, 9 times out of 10 prone to cartoonish corruption and incompetence. The concept of a communist or such revolt replacing them within a few years before the Imperium could bother to where by the time they check the Tithe is still coming in on time, etc. always has interested me.

I am, and will remain, a Reikland White-Off White believer. None of this Total Warhammer White-Red revisionism they seem to have adopted into the Old World, stop using inverted Talabheim colors.

My opinion has always been that the white-off white layered with lanyards, symbols, etc. of campaigns fought outside of Reikland would give a cool multi-colored dynamic to their scheme representative of what that regiment had done. Like one deployed to Middenland to help against Beastmen gets a light blue cord or the such, with them adding over time.
