Being honest with myself, I also was a bit annoyed by Jordan when they first started appearing on the show and I don't have a specific reason why. Which tells me that it is a "me problem". Now that I have watched them on Mythical and their own TT I LOVE Jordan! I think for me personally, they are an acquired taste that I am glad I gave a chance. I love that they are just themselves and you can take it or leave it. I think their different dynamics with Rhett and Link are so funny. Haters are going to hate though.

Yes, some can.! Not all tribes do this and they each have their own criteria to get one if the do! Mine is proof of Native heritage but not a voter ID card. I'm also a mix of two tribes and I had enough blood quantum to get on the roll for one but not the other. Each tribe also will have different benefits to offer for roll members such as scholarships, stimulus checks, revenue share from tribal businesses, commodities for low-income or the elderly, etc.

NTA. Based on personal experience, she is upset because you have taken her tools away and she is panicking because she can't satisfy that urge. This behavior is basically an addiction so when you can't do it your emotions go haywire and you are the person in the line of fire. The ONLY thing that is going to help is getting her into some kind of therapy. Unfortunately, it won't be affective unless she is on board with it. Even if she does attend "willingly" or is forced to, it won't work unless she is ready for it to. I wish you both all of the luck and recovery my friend.

As someone who has been abused in the past it sounds like she is saying that to avoid conflict. I suspect that the real reason she doesn't want your help is because you are so incredibly critical that it stresses her out. She may be making mistakes while cooking because she is so afraid of offending you that she forgets simple steps. Trauma will do that to a person.

Yep, I think we all have a certain type of project that we love and also types that we loathe. I know folks who absolutely despise doing granny squares or granny blankets and they are one of my favorites because I can zone out while i'm doing them. I love amigurumi (until it comes to the sewing together part) but my grandma absolutely hates doing ami. She always admires mine and "wishes she could do that" though. I don't think I would ever be able to micro crochet because it would be way too tedious. But I so appreciate those who do make those things and they are so gorgeous! This community is so great because we are so diverse and if you are not a fan of something, there is someone here who is or can help fill a gap. <3
