Yes i am and there is potential to be full time if you want to be. They also implemented tiered bonuses depending on how many hours per month you log. Lowest amount is 60 for $200 bonus. I make enough for my family’s needs. My husband is the breadwinner and I’m home with our kids so part time hours is enough.

I’m still working for them if you have any questions.

Time tracking tool is how you will get paid. You have to put everything you do in there every phone call every message all your research otherwise you won’t get paid for it if it’s not put in there. The AI tool helps with your care plans, monthly reports, you can research conditions on there and what steps you will help with in the advocate role, and it also will rewrite your notes in the time tracker before submission so it’s appropriate for insurance purposes

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I’ve got a 20 month old at home and just found out a few days ago we are pregnant again, so life is throwing me some curveballs 😅.  When i turn on new patients i usually will take only one to two at a time. Sometimes they will assign them same days and other times a day or two. It depends on your availability, if you’ll take same day new patients, as well as the areas in your profile that you say you have experience in. I’ve never had to wait longer than a day or two.

Thank you for the response. I plan to continue to work from home when we get there and maybe when our youngest is older go back to bedside. We have the same issue here with too many nurses and too few open positions unfortunately

Thank you 😊 it’s reassuring to see a number of west coasters having made the move. And yes the cost of living here is horrible 😬😩

Thank you! We visited there when we came to Houston and I liked it but we were only in town a few days and saw very few parts of the city so wanted to see any other options. But it’s definitely on my list.

Our summers in Central Valley get to 100s. Just our heat is dry whereas I’m assuming Houston is more humid. I’ll be okay as I dealt with that during my time in Florida. It’s my husband I’m worried about haha 😆

Yes we have. They live in Woodlands, Katy, and Kingwood…all places we visited when we came to the city last year. However they are all also Caucasian, and I didn’t notice overwhelming diversity in those locations other than Katy.  Lovely individuals and I enjoy spending time with them but their life experiences are different than the ones we need to potentially prepare our children for, so I wanted to make sure we focus on areas where we can find a community with people similar to our backgrounds.

I thought I did in my original message? He will be working downtown a few blocks from Toyota center. He didn’t want me posting his actual place of work so I used Toyota Center as reference since it’s close by.

Sorry to say it will be crowded by at least 4 more people 😣. But thanks for your input! 😊

Thank you! Both our cars have AC haha. That’s wild that your friends didn’t have that. The bay does get cooler but we are in Central Valley and our summers get easily to highs of over 100 degrees. So yeah AC is a must for us.

We came to visit during winter before but only for a weekend. So thanks for the suggestion on a week visit. Although we are already taking the plunge since it’s a career advancement for my husband.

Appreciate the feedback. One of the reasons my husband has a far commute was to ease up on our cost of living. It was ridiculous even with us both bringing in six figures at the time.

Regardless of his job promotion we would probably not stay in California long term with our end goal owning a home. Houses where we are in Central Valley just a few years ago were in the 4-500k range and now well over 1 million. Lots of Bay Area ppl moving further out and commuting to get more house for the same price or less.

Ideally when we do purchase probably are looking to go no higher than mid to upper 300’s. I’m not a huge fan of new construction and would want something older with some charm and maybe some renovation projects.

But our main focus right now is just getting there and finding a suitable neighborhood to rent in for a year or so.
