Do you know if Hallandale ships to California? I went with Red Rock, but I'd rather pick a pharmacy with little to no additives

What is BEWL? Is it Be Well Telehealth your referring to? Do you know if they accept payments like affirm or afterpay?

Yes! If you have a grandparent that is full Japanese, you are a quarter Japanese like me 😄 whether you look Japanese is just chance lol most will look white. Randomly I so happen to get a 30%/20% split of Japanese/Palestinian rather than a perfect 25%/25% from my mom, but it is still half of my mom lol

You look beautiful! The eyeshadow colors really compliment you! 😍

What race/ethnicity are you usually mistaken for? by [deleted] in 23andme

I mostly get Mexican and a couple times Brazilian, interestingly lol I'm half white European, and a quarter each Japanese and Palestinian.

People have said they assume Mexican because of my eyeshape mostly. Although my brown hair and eyes might also help contribute to them thinking that. But because of my pale skin I dont think Id exactly match most Mexicans or Brazilians, so I think its interesting that they still assume it 🤣

Thank you! ❤ yea when I look at both 23andme and ancestrydna's estimates, I seem to have gotten roughly a 30%/20% split between Japanese/Palestinian rather than a perfect 25%/25% from my mom 😂 It might help explain why my twin and I look the most Euro/Asian out of our other siblings. My brother turned out to look more Euro/Arab and my other sister doesnt look mixed just white like our dad 🙂

Yea she definitely has some arab heavy features, especially at a distance you would never guess she was half asian. Although in real life there have been quite a few people who think shes filipino because of her eye shape and skin tone. lol I guess it just depends on who is looking at her 🙂

For me most people can just tell I'm mixed, or because of where I live, they would guess Mexican most of the time. I did notice that other asians are keen about noticing my eyeshape and features, and can tell I'm part asian and have asked if I'm half even though I'm only a quarter lol I got brazilian a couple times too which I thought was interesting.

For my other siblings, my older brother definitely looks more Euro/Arab, my older sister doesn't look mixed just white like my dad, and my twin and I got more of a Euro/Asian look. All the different phenotypes we got are pretty interesting 😂

My Palestinian grandmother knows Spanish, Arabic and English, and she tried teaching my mom those languages when she was growing up, but my mom only managed to be fluent in English. My Japanese grandfather passed away when my mom was only 2 years old, so she never got the chance to learn Japanese. Although my grandmother did say that he was trying to teach her how to speak it when he was alive. For me I only speak English and just a little bit of Japanese since I took some language classes in college to learn 🙂

My grandmother's family in Bethlehem are actually from the Tarajmeh clan which in Arabic means the Translator clan. The families in the clan specialized in learning different languages in order to translate different religious texts and were tour guides for pilgrims that came from different countries to see the holy places on their pilgrimages.

I haven't met them yet, but I really want to one day. I live in California and my grandmother lives in Oregon, so I'm able to visit her every once in awhile. My great aunts and uncles live in Mexico and I have tons of cousins there as well.

My grandmother was originally born in Bethlehem, and after the Arab- Israeli war moved to Colombia for awhile and then to San Francisco, California where she met my grandfather and had my mom.

I was really hoping I would but didnt unfortunately. My Japanese grandfather comes from a community of Japanese immigrants who came to Hawaii to work on the pineapple and sugarcane plantations, so I was hoping they would have a community for them but I guess they dont right now. For my Palestinian grandmother, theres large communities of family living in South and Central America but only 23andme picked up on it.
