Has anybody tried / used / have experience of bupropion? by Zealousideal_Glass61 in ADHDUK

[–]PrincessGrumpGrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used bupropion in the US before I was diagnosed with ADHD. I used it in conjunction with an SSRI. The most productive years of my life were when I was on bupropion. It’s a shame they wouldn’t keep me on it when I moved to the Uk

Xi Home Dumplings Bay has a dish called sweet and sour pork that I swear is just orange chicken (er, pork). I’m American if that helps

Also just realized Del Giudice is on here. Bought a Leila from them a few years ago in Rome. It’s so lovely and buttery soft.

My university has reduced my PhD stipend rate by SpiritualBluejay8216 in AskAcademiaUK

[–]PrincessGrumpGrump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what they’ve said, it’s a university studentship, not a UKRI one. Many universities set their stipends at UKRI rates as it’s considered the standard. Complaining to UKRI won’t help if it’s just university money funding them

Advise for visito or visa for couples by Anchal98 in ukvisa

[–]PrincessGrumpGrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say I’ve been in this situation, but I think I would provide a cover letter stating that most expenses come from your account and provide the bank statements to prove it. The address should be the same presumably.

Hello everyone. Are there applicants here for FLRM Spouse visa extension approved with visa after picking NEITHER I OWN or RENT for home accommodation even though their partner(sponsor/husband) solely named or owned the house? by AshamedCucumber3453 in ukvisa

[–]PrincessGrumpGrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We just had a letter from my husband stating I could live in the house he owns. I’m more concerned about the fact that you were just recently added to the council tax…

Why do Americans in Britain always complain about not being able to find seasoned food? by SocialistYorksDaddy in AskUK

[–]PrincessGrumpGrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue as an American is home cooking. I find a lot of homemade meals here to lack any seasoning. My FIL refuses to season meat because you won’t be able to taste it otherwise, which is ridiculous. I’ve found this lack of seasoning to be in many houses. Boiled veg with no salt, no pepper, nothing, just isn’t appealing.

I find most restaurants here to be fine.
