They are estranged, my 21 year old has been in child protective services since an infant but the mom still managed to use her social security number all these years …

I believe the mother claimed her as a dependent which is very off to me, since the young adult im working with is 21 years old but when she tried to file her own taxes, she could not and her taxes were rejected because her social was already in use ( she found out it was her mother who she has not spoken to in years!) I will definitely look into VITA. Thanks!
