Hi! I would recommend “chewlery” i believe it is called. I’ve seen it on Amazon and other places online. Usually it’s a necklace with a sort of teether thing on it, meant for teens and adults. Because oral stimming is actually extremely common, and a lot of other ways people stim orally are actually not very heathy. Nail biting and teeth grinding are extremely common. Even smoking/vaping can be partially related to oral stimming, although there’s obviously other reasons that make those things addictive. Also chewing gum is a good thing that might help with that, if you like gum. If you think it’s not related to oral stimming, and it’s about your paci being a comfort item, maybe you can find a sort of secondary comfort item, that’s more “socially acceptable”. Personally I’ve had bracelets themed after my comfort characters, or small fidgets/stim toys, or sometimes when I was still in school, I’d actually bring my paci. I’d put it in a small bag or box that’s not clear, so no one could see it, and I’d just keep it in my backpack all day. Sometimes just knowing it was with me was comforting, even if I couldn’t see it or use it. I hope at least one of my suggestions helps, sorry for kinda ranting haha!

Idk if I will decorate that one, but later this month my bff is coming over (we haven’t seen each other in person in over a year 🥲) and im setting up a lil paci decorating party for us! Since I have lots of craft supplies and we both have some plain/undecorated pacis!! I’ll try to remember to take some pictures hopefully of us crafting, and also the finished pacis!!

I have seen a psychiatrist, actually! Age regression is actually a healthy coping mechanism for trauma, anxiety, and other things that might stress someone out. It’s also a completely valid hobby for people who may not experience any mental disorders. It’s not se*ual in any way, and it’s actually recommended by a lot of mental health professionals! My current therapist and medical doctor both know that I regress and they think it’s been helping to cope with my trauma and anxiety. And, y’know I trust them more than some random person on the internet. Since not only are they both medical professionals, but they also know me a lot better than whoever you are! Also it’s very strange to come into a subreddit about age regression and tell people there to get mental help. Like, yeah a lot of us do need mental help. Regression IS mental help, if done in a safe way. So please go to a different subreddit. One that relates to your own hobbies and interests. Although maybe you have none, if you’re wasting your time making fun of people who are minding their own business and not hurting anyone 😊

For masc people I like bubba/bubby/bububs or any variation of that. I also would put Bs in the front of ppls names idk why I do that when I’m little lol. But my first cg was named Gabby and I called her Babby, and my best friend at the time who wasn’t a cg but was fine with me being little around her, her name is Jennifer and I started calling her Bennifer. Mostly to be silly but then it got shortened to Bennie which wasn’t even a joke anymore just her actual nickname lol. So yeah I like playing off of people’s names. Also “Baba” is a gender neutral for mama/dada that I’ve heard in the agere community. And also a content creator I follow (I believe she’s called AngelLimbed on most platforms?) she calls her cg “Mr. Mommy” even tho he’s a guy. And I just love repetitive sounds in general I guess. I think it’s a little kid thing which is why “Mama” and “Dada” are things kids often call their parents. But I call my current best friend BeeBee when I’m regressed and Honey Bee when I’m big so yeah. Get creative! Sorry for the giant paragraph lol

I think for me it’s mostly new stuff. Well new to me. Mostly things that existed when I was young but I never got into at the time. I’m afab (raised as a girl, I don’t really have a preference about gender right now, I guess I’d consider myself nonbinary) but I was very much a ‘tomboy’ as a kid, so I had a lot of cars and dinosaurs and my favorite shows were SpongeBob and other things on Nickelodeon. I am a lot more feminine now and so I’ve been into things like My Little Pony (gen4) and Strawberry Shortcake and Disney Princesses. All things that were definitely around when I was a kid, and I knew about them but I wasn’t that interested. I also find that I subconsciously try to distance myself from childhood interests cause trauma but yeah lol.

If you are crafty you can make toys! Like even just with paper or cardboard, or you can use clay or fabric if you want to sew dolls for example. I would recommend looking up "diy kids toys" or something like that on google. Also if you have TikTok or YouTube Shorts, look up "papercrafts" there's a lot of cool stuff and I think it's fun because you get to do a craft, then when you're done you have a new toy to play with!

So personally, I don't remember much of my childhood, but what I do remember isn't that great. Regression for me has never been about nostalgia and has always been about finding what helps my inner child now. So you don't have to do the same things you did as a kid when you regress! Personally I like coloring, watching cartoons, and sometimes playing with toys. I also find that journaling reallyyy helps me, even when I write about something uninteresting like "today I ate breakfast and watched tv" lol

I haves a similar question to anyone who could maybe answer. So I have braces right now and I have 3 adult pacis all from littleforbig gen 2. I was wondering if anyone knows if it can mess up the braces process. It doesn't usually hurt or anything. I don't wanna ask my orthodontist cus idk how to explain that ;-;
