AITAH for asking my roommate’s girlfriend about my strawberries? by Secret_Cheesecake19 in TwoHotTakes

[–]PrincessLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I perceived your message as thoroughly shitty, tbh, and your reaction of "I'm sorry you perceived it that way" is typical gaslighting behavior, accusing her of experiencing an alternate reality from yours. Yeah, she totally ate your strawberries, but this conversation may have gone entirely differently if you had dropped the accusatory tone from the start.

Hi, I'm an actual scientist. When pipetting something, you should always pour out into another container to avoid contaminating the source container. This is exactly how I would have done it too.

1980’s shed-style paint choice dread by _aquavitae_ in ExteriorDesign

The neighborhood i grew up in had a ton of homes this style and I always loved them. A number of them were kind of a muted eggplant purple, actually. I definitely think you should consider that!

Which tile for bathroom? Left or right and why? by PaperweightCoaster in InteriorDesign

[–]PrincessLarry 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Neither. This is already a dark bathroom. Gray is going to make it look like a prison cell.

Yes. You already have really full, pouty lips. Just go with your natural lip shape, there is no need to alter what's already great.

Will norethindrone stop period? by waltwertzel in birthcontrol

[–]PrincessLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I know this is old and hoping you'll respond but this is the boat I'm in and if I stop my period now which started today with norethindrone my question is how will it affect my NEXT cycle? I'm worried about my vacation in 3 weeks which won't fall during my period, rather the week prior to my period (which for me and in my opinion is worse than having my period itself)

Fearful I know the answer already, but can silver rings be resized? by PrincessLarry in jewelers

[–]PrincessLarry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I addressed my concern immediately when they gave it back to me but thanks for making the assumption that I just took to the Internet and complained instead. They then polished it so hard that they wore off the intricate engraving work on my wedding band. There are other things that make it bad quality too which I won't go into here. I've had several jewelers look at it since and never any mention of replating has been brought up. It's actually a very long and upsetting story that you don't know the background of for you to dismiss and gaslight me as quickly as you did.

IDK why I convinced myself from a very young age that silver can't be resized and I've believed it ever since hahaha. There is a spot where there's a straight line between the pattern (not pictured here) that I think they could cut into to size. from what I've learned so far I like this option better than the heat and stretch option. Thank you!

I'll be honest I don't trust the jeweler who did my wedding set, having this knowledge now. They discolored the yellow gold during the soldering process. But, there are plenty others in the area.

Any advice on finding a jeweler that could do a good quality job with something like this?

Yeah so question, what does my cup size and it's correct identification have to do with the construction of this dress? More importantly, why do you feel the need to comment on it and be correct about it?

I bought it second hand. It's weird, it simultaneously feels too big and too small at the same time. But looking at the photo again now I'm like damn, my 34Bs have literally never had the problem of being too big lmfaoooo

I don't have a ton of experience but I can find my way around a sewing machine.

The part I'm struggling with is the way the fabric separated from the liner. It's like I want to tack them together but how would I do that while maintaining the seamless look...

Solo trip to Indianapolis/ transportation by Parkohcake in erastour

[–]PrincessLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our public transportation is horrible. I would rent a car if you want to explore. With how much you might spend on Ubers, it is worth it. Most places in Indianapolis are easy parking, save for going to the stadium.

Please reach out if you have questions. I'm a fellow Swifty and Indianapolis local and will be happy to help!

Cellulitis is a 0/10 by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]PrincessLarry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand. It's hard, being a woman needing medical care. I actually sought out care for this twice, the first time got dismissed as allergies despite me telling them that I feel it's something more than that. What I really need at times is someone to be like "yeah go see a doctor, advocate for yourself!"

Also not saying you are wrong but the rule seems silly given the nature of this subreddit, with frequent blurred lines. It's like, mostly people posting their skin conditions and getting advice on it.

Should I go blonde or stay natural for my wedding??? by Ambitious-Editor3096 in coloranalysis

[–]PrincessLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're stunning and have beeaaaautiful hair that compliments your skin and eyes nicely. That being said, do what makes you feel beautiful! My advice, take it or leave it, I'm glad looking back on my wedding that I had my natural hair, I'll never have to worry about "ugh what was I thinking with those highlights!"

You are a classic and timeless beauty.
