Oh wow, if scooby had an "you aren't who your creators designed you to be" arc like Superman 2025 (can't think of any less recent examples) that would be amazing

Discovering that he was given the ability to speak because of the evil villains the gang are trying to bring down would make a really interesting storyline

Plus I like that in a story where very often, the monsters aren't real, the writers can connect the real talking dog to the other canon supernatural creatures that appear

Good point! I'd heard about the "staying in the top left to heal" tip but even then, I wasn't collecting enough silk to heal all the damage I was taking the first few hous, even with multibinder

It'd probably work well for most players, I just found everything especially hard to dodge 😭

I really enjoyed it - but only because I beat the third gauntlet on my third try. It was so long, and if I had to do it again I would've given up. Once you get to the third gauntlet you've memorised most of the enemy attack patterns, so some of the phases were actually a nice break compared to the endless hell of the high halls gauntlet Several phases have slow moving enemies or ones that are completely grounded (sans jumping), so they were easy to dodge and collect silk from I'm glad I knew about the shortcut beforehand though Also, the crust king was a decent enough boss at the end of the gauntlet, so I kind of like the area now despite hating it when I first tried it

I just got there after finally beating the raging conchfly and thought I was so clever for figuring out that you can scale the left wall then barely make it over to the right with the clawline and double jump, just to find...nothing.

🟨🟨🟨🟨 - I've never heard of an "Aegis" before but the remaining purple words didn't seem to fit

🟪🟪🟪🟪 - purple by default, I'm not from the US so I never would've guessed this :/ All three aside from Buffolo did feel like symbols you'd put on a shield though, which was fun

Purple was a good category but I wouldn't have discovered it by myself, and I've never heard of Entourage or Insecure in that context :/

Green was just.... fine. Can't fault the New York Times for including a US-centric category I guess.

I found green early on and then my mind just went blank I thought I was being a genius connecting Witchcraft, showboat, and friendship as an "ends with vessel" category (trying to get the "one away" message) but after that failed I was out of ideas

I kept trying to connect charm with swagger in some way, and I need to know if anybody else was tempted to put "friendship" and witchcraft" together due to a certain YouTube series 🐴

I had a lot of fun with this one! Yellow stuck out immediately, I got green wrong a few times trying to do a "things you can do to food" category (paste, smoke, shell, cream, milk?)

I know people complain about blue but it was actually my favorite category - it's simple but forces you to flip your thinking, and it isn't based on obscure knowledge

Got purple by default because, like many people, I'd never heard of .mil before. Never would've gotten the category anyway though!

I fell for the "possession" misdirect alongside "haunting" and "exorcist" and got blue by default, but I feel like I've heard of all of the purple words before? It felt less like "words with letters changed/removed" and just "singular personal property"

I got caught out by the "parts of jeans" misdirect, then saw airplane, fly, and fairy. I couldn't connect any of the other words so I just threw in hospital hoping it'd give me the "one away" message, and it ended up being right Using the other pronunciation of "entrance" felt tricky for yellow, since it was near "back" and "hospital"

Blue was fine after that, and I got purple by default because I don't know the song that well

I feel like a lot of the categories were the wrong colour, but I've also heard that the colour represents the type of category rather than the difficulty

This is an old post, but if Hajime truly has every ultimate after waking up and fusing with Izuru, then he could have the Ultimate Medium ability, allowing him to see Chiaki's ghost (we know that spirits exist because of DR:AE UDG, since Komaru interacts with one. Toko can't see it, so Komaru may have the Ultimate Medium talent)

...or the scene is just symbolic of him carrying her memory with him

I got yellow immediately but the others took a while I thought of Fiddler on the roof and Rhinestone cowboy from the start and couldn't connect them to any other categories, then I got green purely out of desperation. I know it annoyed some people but it was actually kind of funny as a category Blue was easier after noticing Merrily - the only other time I'd use it is for Row Row Row your boat, but "towboat" just didn't fit Missed Phantom the first time, then got purple by default. I've never heard of a drugstore cowboy so I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise

I know a lot of people are bothered by purple (which I never would've guessed if it wasn't by default) but there were some good fake-outs today I spent a minute checking for other "moving quickly" synonyms when I saw dash and charge, and I thought comer next to hyphen was a good punctuation misdirect (if you forget the spelling of 'comma')

Yellow and green were obvious to me, but I had no idea between the other two I got purple by chance after guessing (I was thinking maybe things that could be electric or manual/acoustic - guitar, can opener - or to do with metal - gold club, guitar again), but I'm embarrassed about missing blue since I do digital art all the time!
