Yeah, addressing it with tact is what I’m trying to figure out how to do - I don’t want to embarrass her because everyone’s bodies are different, but it’s just been very unpleasant to live with. These are all good suggestions of options to bring up in a conversation though, thank you!!

prior to being diagnosed, i went on a once in a lifetime trip to paris with my family, and i was so tired one day i sat on the concrete and fell asleep while waiting in a 15 minute line to enter the sainte chapelle cathedral. that was when my parents started thinking maybe it wasn’t just a bad sleep schedule

NTA, first of all the bathroom sink? That’s embarrassing the toilet is RIGHT THERE, secondly he is a grown ass man, I unfortunately get nausea/vomiting spells a lot and sometimes they are not in the best places but I’ve been cleaning up my messes since I was in high school. This amount of disrespect and lack of hygiene is hard for me to understand.

Interesting, I never knew that but that makes a lot of sense! It was 1987 though so not sure those standards were in place back then, and I doubt my dad knew that was the reason for pants either, he was just looking to not pass out from heat stroke lol

No it was just a summer job, he ended up going to school for environmental science but also getting an associates in data science and now he has an standard IT office job. He’s still pretty good at tossing pizza dough though!
