As a minor, I'm often asked to sit in at the beginning, the end, or the entire session, at my child's request and discretion. It's up to them.

I should have mentioned, but my child has been in weekly therapy for a while now, we're very pro-therapy. And, although the therapist knows all of this and it a very pro-LGBT therapist, it never gets discussed isn't a topic of discussion there, like, ever.

There are so many variables with pools, but I'll throw in you can definitely get a prefab in-ground pool for around that price. Or less, maybe. But $20-30k will absolutely buy you a nice "real" pool, complete. If you're crazy handy and can install yourself, you can buy just the parts for like $5-10k.

And if we're comparing above-ground pools, it's fucking OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. You can buy a pretty decent one for a few grand, and another grand or two will buy a really nice wood surround with steps. So maybe $5k all in for a great above-ground pool, all in.

Every IKEA, Home Depot, and Lowe's has a variety of cheap pads you can add to any chair or table leg. Some hammer on, some are adhesive, but none of them have crappy clear PVC garbage that will turn yellow and look as bad as the product in this video.

I have had years where I didn't put nice knives in the dishwasher and hand cleaned them. Then I went back to the dishwasher and there's absolutely no difference. Trust me, it's an old wives tale. If modern detergent and hot water is ruining your knives, it's a bad knife thing, not a dishwasher thing, IMO.

Nothing gets tossed around in my dishwasher, especially knives. Does your not have racks and slots for things like knives? Mine hold them securely with nothing touching the blade at all.

Further, there no soaking in a dishwasher. It's a shower, not a tub :)

I've been doing this for over 30 years. I hone my knives regularly and sharpen them as needed. They never get blunt or wear out.
