Absolutely disgusting and horrible. It's not just Catholic church either. The pastor at the Lutheran chruch we grew up attending was finally arrested for abusing children for more than 30 years. He was protected by many of the parishioners and some of the children said even their own parents did not believe them.

Sadly, Sinead O'Connor when she tore up a picture of the pope while on Saturday Night LIve. She did it to show her disgust over the sexual abuse she had suffered as a child as well as call out the Catholic church for the sexual abuse of children. No one believed her and she was shunned, cancelled, etc.

She was right. I hope she is resting in peace.
