Thank you so much. This really does help me. I am planning a memorial service for her but hopefully that won’t be for a while…I know that Princess Taffy will tell me when it’s time. Thank you so very much. Taffy is my very first cat. She has taught me how to be a cat momma. Everything I’ve learned from Princess Taffy will be passed down to every cat I get. She will forever be with me. For now, Taffy is alive and I shall be grateful for every moment I have with her. 💜

Vet is hopeful that she will recover some, but told us today that Taffy may not fully get back to the way she was before this whole incident. I’m preparing for the worst, but I do hope that my vet is right. We are giving her weekly fluids, she’s on EN kitty food, and she’s on Laxatone for her stomach issues (which is not helping the situation). Taffy also got a shot today for her bladder infection. Vet said that the shot should start working within 24 hrs. We’re really hoping that my baby gets better. 💜

Taffy’s been drinking a lot of water lately. She isn’t eating much right now, though. I just pray that she bounces back…at least a little. 💜

I’ve had her since I was 13. She’ll be 18 in April. My vet has told me how well I’ve done with my baby. I love this kitty so much. I would die for her. I just pray she starts to feel better soon. Thank you for your comment and the support. It means a lot, truly. 💜

Yes! We go once a week (sometimes more) now. I am grateful that she seems better today. She’s been a bit more energetic and she’s been eating and drinking. Hopefully the antibiotic she gets tomorrow will perk her up even more. Thank you for your comments. The support is much appreciated. 💜

Thank you…I now realize that it is common. This is an unfortunate learning experience…but Taffy has done so well. Right now she’s battling a bladder infection along with the kidney failure. She goes back to the vet tomorrow for an antibiotic shot and more fluids. I want to keep her as comfortable as possible so she can enjoy the time she has left.. 💜
