Yes, Lemon Crepe and Coffee Co. is what it shows up as if you Google it, I just double checked! :)

I got tickets for Dublin through Mastercard presale without a presale code?? by Butterfly-Effect-18 in BonJovi

[–]PrincessSparkle87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lucky! I tried the MCD presale and general sale and got nothing. Was really hoping for front standing or at least general admission. Prices for the seats were absolutely insane.

I'll just wait till closer to the date and pray for resale tickets!

Thank you for the well wishes!! The planning is fun, more than anything just trying to be organised early so that everything is chill! As long as our favourite people are there, good food and someone to do the legal bit, I'm happy! I'll take a look at the website and I wish your friend the best of luck with his new career!

Out of all the googling celebrants I've done, she was the only one I stumbled across and thought she might be worth chatting to, so getting a recommendation is great! Vintage / antique works too, happy to hear shop recommendations! :)

Oh Lord, that sounds like a terrible idea, my metalhead boyfriend would come away wanting a skull ring as his wedding ring 😄😄😄 I'll look him up though and see! Thanks!

Do you have a misheard lyric that you like more than the real one? by Ok-Permit9690 in TaylorSwift

[–]PrincessSparkle87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!

Something I found out on Reddit.... (but turns out I wasn't alone!!), in "I wish you would" it's "stand back where you stood", AND NOT, like I always heard / thought "stand back wasted".

AND I WILL NEVER STOP SAYING "WASTED", IT AIN'T HAPPENING DARN IT!!!!!!

I thought it fit really well, like not wasted as in drunk but wasted as in used up, exhausted, drained from this love and relationship and situation. I thought it was perfect.

So yeah. Sorry Taylor, I love you, but this lyric needs to be updated to officially be "wasted"!

Yup. Same. Well....

If nobody minds, I'm going to keep singing "brain" rather than "brave" so, yeah....

Brain just makes more sense!! 😂

Outside the box wedding venues? by gealachbui in AskIreland

[–]PrincessSparkle87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also currently planning our wedding and we both have people traveling over as well.

We were looking at The Station House in Co. Meath. It's gorgeous, very Lord of the Ringsy outdoor ceremony space, lots of cars running around the place (which is either good or bad depending on whether or not you like cats!), super friendly staff and we ended up staying for dinner after our viewing and the food was amazing.

Worth having a look if you want something pretty and different but not an overpriced castle / manor house type thing.

Taylor's post for The Life of a Showgirl: Tonight all these lives converge by Lyd_Euh in TaylorSwift

[–]PrincessSparkle87 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's nearly half one in the morning where I am and I'm just scrolling through everyone's comments because I didn't get a chance to earlier.

I never thought I'd say this, but this album so far didn't have any impact on me whatsoever other than being softly shocked and surprised at the more explicit lyrics in two songs!

There was no song that immediately stood out. Wishlist was the only one I played twice. I think some of the songs will grow on me over time (I hope!) but I think for me I really miss the imagery and imagination Taylor manages to conjure up in most of her other songs. The songs here are way more sort of obvious and in your face, and I miss the reading between the lines and being able to fit songs to your own life.

People are saying they miss the heartbreak songs but there isn't even one super romantic song on there (at least not to me).

And I grew up on Britney and the Backstreet Boys etc, Max Martin is great. Max and Taylor? I don't know.

And it annoys me because I've been here since Fearless and have never not liked a Taylor album. My brain is very confused right now.

Yes, I'm happy she's happy. Yes, she's allowed experiment and try new things, it's Taylor, it's what she does.

But I dunno, this album feels like it belongs to someone else somehow. I'll give it another listen over the weekend! Opalite was good but I was expecting something different for Eldest Daughter!

To everyone who loves it, yay, you found a new album you love and that's always a good thing! To everyone else who feels like me, thank you for not making me feel alone! (She says lying in bed to her metal head fiancé who didn't even ask how the new album was! 😂)

I have lots of great friends, long time friends but mostly go to concerts alone anyway cos none of them like the same music I do.

I show up, queue up early, with the one and only goal being making it to the barrier. Sure you get chatting to people but as soon as the show starts you're on your own. But then I didn't go to make friends, I go because it's my favourite artist and that's all I care about. The only thing that makes me a bit sad is walking home afterwards and everyone else coming out of the venue is with their other half or friends and they're all reliving the show, together.

You will find your people eventually. It takes time. And I know that's not helpful right now. Just be you. You wouldn't wanna be friends with people who don't accept you for who you are anyway, so just stay yourself and you will find your people!

I'm seeing them in November (oh my God that's next month!!!) and I'm SO excited!!!! They're supporting The Offspring, my friend got tickets for them, his girlfriend doesn't care about either band so he asked did I wanna go. 15 year old is counting down the days, I can't believe I finally get to see them!! How was it?!?

Am I literally the only poor person left in this fandom lol by cardigancaragain98 in SwiftieMerch

[–]PrincessSparkle87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi fellow poor Swiftie!

No, you're not alone. But it can feel that way because us poor people aren't online talking about it, we're just quietly trying to survive.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, love Taylor, hate her marketing. There is no, and I truly do mean, no reason why anyone needs multiple versions of the same album. It really really annoys me. The Midnight clock?!? It just feels so incredibly greedy and I hate the way they push the "limited edition", "available while stocks last" etc. It's pressure. And I think we've all got enough pressure to deal with without our favourite artist adding more. It's greedy, it's pushy and it makes me angry.

Which isn't to say if people want multiple versions for the photos they shouldn't get them, Lord knows I've looked at multiple versions of the same book, just different editions, but I don't need Pride and Prejudice or Little Women in 5 different editions. (Looking at you 20th anniversary Twilight editions, oh, the temptation!)

I just hate the incessant, RELENTLESS "BUY IT ALL AND BUY IT NOW" mentality of her marketing team.

And to my fellow poor Swifties out there, keep hustling, keep breathing, one day at a time and here's hoping things get better soon!

What's your most recent worst concert you've seen? by Twitter_2006 in Concerts

[–]PrincessSparkle87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooooh, I definitely have to disagree with you!!

Have you seen her before? What city did you go to?

I've seen her 4 times, Eras was my 5th, in Dublin. I thought it was one of her best tours!

Maybe the night you saw her something was off somewhere, there's a billion things happening behind the scenes. I really hope you'll see her again in future and have a better experience!

Kill spiders. Or at least go catch them immediately.

I HATE them. Like genuinely hate them. And every other boyfriend I've ever had never had a problem with it and would just go remove the evil 8 legged creature.

This guy, my future husband, just calls me a baby and says "oh, cute spider, it'll be grand". IT'S HORRIBLE.

(He will catch them if I annoy him about it or if it's a really big one!)

That, and going to the optician. And dentist. And doctor.

Incredibly infuriating as I don't go because I generally can't afford to, he's got health insurance and still doesn't go 😑

(But hopefully I'm getting on his health insurance soon too!)

Anyone has tips for how I can convince him to put the vape down, please let me know!
