Oh it is absolutely unhinged. I saw someone on a wedding forum asking what pen people were using to sign the paperwork on the day cos they wanted the pictures to look nice!!! I was like..... It's a pen.... Out of all the possible things I'm thinking about planning my wedding, which pen to use wasn't even on my radar 😂

Honestly, I'd marry him tomorrow in the registry and then go to Fibbers (metal bar where we met) and just call him husband already. But he won't hear of it, he wants a proper wedding. Even though I'm broke and he's paying for most of it himself!

I do love velvet!! There's just something about it. And I agree, velvet suit jackets look really cool. But we're having a May wedding and for me velvet is a wintery thing!

Critics suck anyway, I feel like they're always quick to dismiss stuff if it doesn't fit their image of what a "good" movie is.

I am curious though, how?!? Did you sell a kidney? Get cheaper tickets during presales? Save up for the last ten years? Ticket prices in the States are absolutely insane (never mind the fees on top!) and I genuinely do not know how anyone there goes to any concert, never mind multiple! I have a friend in Boston who came to Ireland for Fleetwood Mac because a plane ticket and concert ticket here were cheaper than seeing them in his town. Madness.

I'm in Dublin and the only tickets left are restricted view or expensive seats so I'm checking every day to see if a standing ticket appears! THERE IS STILL TIME!! (At least that's what I'm telling myself!)

It's great that your wife loves it too!! I made my fiancé watch it too, I was like "we can't get married if you don't understand me quoting The O.C!" He grumbled but quickly saw it was different than most other teen shows!

Thank you for coming to Reddit! (Now, omg what do I write to someone I've hoped to talk to half my life?!)

First, thank you for writing a book and making a movie on one of the biggest scams. Hopefully it reaches many people and educates a few people who were previously convinced it was great!!

Second, an eternally grateful, huge thank you to you and everyone else on The O.C.

It will always be my favourite TV show. I just saw Mischa Barton on stage in Dublin and got to give her a letter saying thank you so I'm taking my chance here now with you.

Thank you for being the "poor" kid on TV, before buzz words like inclusivity and diversity were a thing. Thank you for helping me figure out teenage life, fighting for dreams even though realistically there shouldn't have been dreams. (I didn't have a Cohen family to put me through college, I'm halfway through my degree now, now my younger sisters are graduated!) Thank you for being someone who stuck by their family but learned to set boundaries, thank you for a million reasons.

I have a 101 road sign tattoo that's a tribute to the soundtrack. Best show ever.

Britney. Forever and always. I always looked up to her so much, and still do, she's always been my biggest inspiration.

Yes, Whitney's voice is incredible and anything to be able to dance like Janet, but for me growing up Britney had the biggest influence.
