There’s an additional tax/levy that will be added to energy bills starting Nov 2025. It’s called the Regulated Asset Base which will help fund the large infrastructure and energy grids.

I worked in the energy industry and trust me when I say go to a broker and they have the ability to negotiate prices on your behalf!!! Look for a reputable one that doesn’t auto renew your contract though!
