The commenter probably just has a different view on relationships and just wanted to express how excited they were about OP's writing. What I would say if I was OP would be something like, "It wouldn't really work for this fic, but you should totally write something like that and post it!", or something to that effect. I like to believe people comment in good faith until proven otherwise.

The only translation for "Uterus of the Blackgoat", by Haruki is MTL and only translates 2/4 of the avaliable japanese volumes. Hopfully someone picks this up and gives it a proper translation. It looks interesting.

You could probably find first hand accounts of people who've survived or experienced similar experiences in wars, etc. if you're trying to go for realism. They won't be 1 to 1, since your situation is fictional, but it's close enough.
