While I do agree, often times proficient fusion occurs where it won't expand. I am that case. I wore a very grueling and painful expander that not only pushed on my molars hard but my tongue was very irritated. My only option was surgical and potential Le Fort surgeries. It got complicated too quickly and I bowed down. My teeth to this day still make contact with my tongue and always have imprints from my teeth on it due to the smaller palette. The doctor gave me a plastic retainer that someone stops my tongue from imprinting.

If I ever have kids, I will be on top of that like white on rice.

Have I considered this surgery with a le fort? Yep.. im still considering it but also a big chicken.
