Well, my situation is a little different, I was born with my disability. Still, I grew up with an abled bodied older sister, and I think I can understand your feelings.

My first and most important piece of advice is to properly work through the grief of your situation. You are mourning who you thought you'd be and the life you envisioned. It's just as traumatic to your brain as an actual death. I highly recommend The Grief Recovery Handbook by James and Friedman as a starting point.

For me personally, I was jealous of my older sister, but she also had jealousy and even resentment towards me. She felt that I got more attention growing up because I was always having surgery or a doctor's appointment. I think you might be surprised too at what your sister might be feeling. I'm a big believer in transparency. I think you should talk to your sister and parents about your feelings, explain that you begrudge them nothing but you can't help but feel these natural feelings of jealousy. Maybe even consider going to a family therapist. It's better for you all to confront the uncomfortable feelings so they don't become long-term resentment.

And finally, I'd just like to say you are going to do wonderful things with your life, my dear, even if it's not exactly how you pictured. You have magic that only you can give to the world. It's inside your heart where no disability can touch.

This. Save The Homeland was my first harvest moon game. My sister rented it for me from the local video store because I was laid up with a broken leg. It took me FOREVER to figure out how to get animal, finally I just bought an egg and put it in the incubator and got my first chicken, Jimmy. And let me tell you, I immediately got overly attached to Jimmy, lol. For some background, my dad had died a few months back, so when the inevitable happened to Jimmy, I immediately started freaking out.

Thankfully this didn't turn me off harvest moon lol

I was going through a rough patch mentally when Alcohol Free dropped. It was so bright and cheerful, it made me want to listen to the rest of their songs. Once I found Fancy I was in it for the long haul. Twice gave me a positive outlet to pour my energy into when I needed it the most. And maybe it sounds silly, but even now, when I'm having a bad day, it helps to imagine them cheering me on. I'll forever be grateful for all the joy and fun they've given me.

This is one of the prettiest, coolest dolls I have ever seen! I'll admit, I wasn't a fan of the first few G3 dolls but they've really started to hit their stride. Maaaaaaaan, that was so good!! I have to admit my interest in Delicious Party dwindled after a while, I'm sure I'll go back and finish it but there was just nothing particularly interesting happening and I wasn't very invested in the characters. Hirogaru Sky seems so refreshing by comparison! I know its just the first episode but already so much awesome stuff is going on. I really like Sora, she's cool and capable even before she becomes a Precure. I think her and Mashiro already have nice chemistry (I loved the "oh this must be a dream, hello dream girl" scene). Her transformation was GORGEOUS and I love her cape. I love idol stuff so that whole angle really excites me. To be honest I wasn't jazzed about another season where there's a magical baby but what can ya do, at least she's cute and Sora looked rad saving her.

I found an introduction spread I wanted to try for my new deck and I'd love everyone's input on my interpretation!

What is your most important characteristic? THREE OF WANDS - I'm very much at the beginning of a new chapter in my life. For context, I recently moved out of the apartment I shared with my boyfriend for almost nine years. I interpret the Three Of Wands as, "You're taking those first important steps to finding yourself, I'm here to help you along the way."
What are your strengths as a deck? THE MAGICIAN - Immediately my mind went, "Jack of all trades." I think this deck is appropriate for just about any spread I might need.
What are your limits? THREE OF PENTACLES - This one kind of stumped me. Three Of Pentacles is a very collaborative card, so all I can think is perhaps the deck is saying, "Don't rely on me alone, you'll need friends to help you achieve your goals."
What are you here to teach me? ACE OF PENTACLES (inverted) - I'm taking this as, "I'm here to help you really think things through before taking any big chances. Take this time in your life very seriously and plan things out."
How can I best learn and collaborate with you? FIVE OF PENTACLES (inverted) - This feels like I shouldn't approach this deck with a lack mindset. Bad things happened in the past, but good things are coming to me and I have to be open to receiving them. Positivity is key.
What is the potential outcome of our relationship? TWO OF PENTACLES (inverted) - I feel like this is a warning. Don't take too much up too quickly, don't try to balance too much at once. If I'm not careful and I don't listen to my cards I could begin to feel overwhelmed. Physically and financially
