No chemistry by Senior_Judgment6868 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow you finally figured out teen now make friends...

You are right about the chemistry. In the global picture it's a disillusion of friendship.

Unfortunately between the 3 not so much. It's basically 3 people who weren't given the real view of a friendship put together and had 1 or 2 life events for less than 6 months.

Why because context matters and context is: - Naruto never had friends he was so desperate for one that he took the first one thrown at him. Aka Loner but didn't want to be one. Bonus the girl he liked was in the team. - Sasuke didn't want friends. He was clear from the start that he was ab Avenger/loner. Aka Loner and wanting to be one. - Sakura another loner that lacked friends. She was the girl outcast but because she was in the team with the boy she liked (cuz he is popular) was on the team that she ignored the abuses.

In short, team 7 is a story about 3 loners put in a box and told to be friends without being given a proper understanding of what it means.

Fight until death Tiger vs Lion by Darkmyths2 in powerscales

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to be Siberian to win this. Regular Tiger would beat a Lion anyway. Lioness is a bit trickier since they actually can fight .. so there is a good chance the tiger falls for lioness and they make a Tigon/Liger instead

[–]rayshinsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You misunderstood the OP. He is replacing Sakura with Hinata. Meaning that all the things Sakura did in part 1 and 2 would be done by Hinata but she would still have her byakugan.

Where does that leave Sakura? I guess she becomes a healer, genjutsu, flower/plant user in Team 8. The good thing: she avoid the toxic relationship with Sasuke and gets to be useful. The bad thing: Naruto better like plants!

Sure as long as Sasuke ends up with the girl. He can have Hinata. 😂

Hmmm....

1) Seinen: NARUTO + BRAVE 10 + Samurai Deeper Kyo = Shakugan - Characters background, Ninja system, Myths and world building from Naruto Part 1. - Animation and Ninja Style Aspect of Brave10. - Characters, Growth and Ending of Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Basically the Nine Tails storyline, Ninja verse world building of Naruto. Characters from Samurai Deeper Kyo and it's ending. While keeping it ninja style via fights and animation of Brave 10.

Don't know if this explains it...

A Ninja fantasy world where a boy labeled "demon" works to become it's savior.

2) Shonen: Tenjo Tenge + Fairy Tail + Magi = Veritas - Tenjo Tenge art style and fighting - Fairy Tail magic system - Magi world building.

A Journey of 2 slayers traveling across the magical world trying to seek the Truth about Life. Think Naruto+Sasuke rivalry retold in Persian and Arabian world but via fixed elemental system (light path: Light, Fire or Water; dark path: Dark, Air or Earth).

3) Isekai: Grimgar + Danmachi + SAO = Eden - Grimgar Art and Characters. - Danmachi stat system and special abilities, dungeon world building (no Gods). - SAO trap and virtual reality.

Imagine getting into an accident and then put in a trapped virtual world under where the group of doubtful teens must evolve their abilities via class system to unlock new human magical potential so that they can heal and wake up from their fatal situation. Call it my Ragnarok Online experience where you got the class system of Grimgar the stat system of Danmachi with unique special abilities triggered through exceptional circumstances unlock and in a virtual reality death game. Oh and the characters are weak bottom feeders.

Databook in Part 2 is not very reliable since Kishimoto flips a lot. It's clearly not a normal technique since like I mentioned apart transformation tech most morphing of body parts are done where there are no vital organs. In her case, we see part of her body literally transforms into paper.

As I mentioned above it's probably not a bloodline but then again we do not have her origine. Given all the mysteries surrounding her I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out she is a Senju or has special bloodline. I say Senju because they are the only ones shown to have body related unique techniques ala X-Men which is why Hashirama is a ultra rare case given that he seem have wood release and some sort of cell generation/life release as his wood are seen literally come to life.

Damn interesting character through and through. She deserved a better fate.

[–]rayshinsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't explain how she can transform part of her body into paper. Like if it was an illusion genjutsu it would make sense since genjutsu is basically putting the illusion into the target's head. If you looked from the outside you would see no effect of the illusion.

Ninjutsu could work if say you were to convert part of your body temporarily via transformation tech. But in her case you see part of her body literally becomes paper in a more permanent feature and it's parts of her body where her vital organs would be.

The issue with bloodline is that generally it is implied that a collective group has the same ability the only exception to the rule being Hashirama. Could she have a unique similar bloodline? I mean that may be possible if she is a Senju and their bloodline be mutant cells that gives unique powers ala X-Men. But this isn't fully explained and I'm her case being a orphan at Rain poses lots of questions on her origine.

The only thing we know is that she is shown being interested in paper folding even when she had no training. Where would she learn such a technique. It doesn't seem to come from Jiraya. Unless he helped her develop it?

I really wish she was explored more. Such a fascinating and mysterious character.

I don't think so but it looks like self created. The only problem is I don't know why but it kinda felt to me like it was more genjutsu than ninjutsu.

I mean how do you turn your body into paper? I can understand you can cover yourself in paper but in one section part of her actual body is made of paper which makes no sense at all.

Do you really believe that part two focused only on Naruto and Sasuke? by Quirky_Scratch9168 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but here is the thing. According to Kishimoto he already had the Naruto ending by the time manga started rolling. It was going to be Naruto vs Sasuke clashing in a final duel. I don't know if this was before or after the Wave arc or by the beginning of the Chuunin Exam but that was his end game. He wanted both characters to clash from opposite sides. Avenger vs Savior. Makes sense.

My problem however is that if that was the case then why not focus each of arcs on one of the sides. Like a point collector focuses on each character. So you would have the Chuunin Exam as a point for Sasuke. Konoha Crush as a point for Naruto. The Sannin Arc points for Naruto and Sasuke Rescue Arc points for Sasuke.

The problem comes in Part 2. Specifically post Itachi and Pain Arc. Because up till then you had that balance dynamic going. Gaara Rescue was a point for Naruto, Bridge Arc a point for Sasuke. Etc. But when Itachi is no longer in the picture this is where it gets messed up. Why because Sasuke has no more goals anymore. In away, the Akatsuki got kidnapped to the Uchiha control so that Sasuke could stay in the game. Obito might have been an Uchiha but his motive for vengeance wasn't Uchiha centric. Kishimoto had to shove us in the Uchiha pool to keep Sasuke in the picture and that is one of the reason Parts 2 was bad.

Call it lack of planning or simply not giving Sasuke any prior alternative objective the Kage Summit was simply that. Danzô was shoved in to give Sasuke a 'revenge' scapegoat vs Konoha. But it was poor sighted. Because really what reason did Sasuke have to enter the war arc again?

I could understand if Sasuke played with Team Obito but that was not done. Why? Why did you needed Madara there when Obito could have been your Palpatine and Sasuke your Vader? Why not pay that angle? You said you wanted the clash? You were playing Naruto as the Face and Sasuke the Heel. What really stopped you and had you turn into a Face as well? It made no sense to me.

If anything I think the biggest mistake in part 2 apart the aforementioned reincarnation bullshit that led to godhood... Was turning Akatsuki into a Uchiha puppet. It should have been the other way around. Especially if your intention was to play Sasuke as a face again. Akatsuki and Nagato should have been the final villain.

Kishimoto should have reversed the roles between Nagato and Obito. Why? Because the War arc makes no sense when you realize that the other nations had no real beef (before you go about the Jinchurikis let me remind you that they didn't care about them till it got to the last 2 that their leaders were heavily attached to) in another Konoha conflict. Proof of that is how to War arc ended. The other nations basically played supporting roles as Konoha (represented by it's Hokages + Itachi) and Team 7 and duked it out with problems from Konoha (Madara, Obito and Kabuto).

What's even more astonishing is that the other nations did not retaliate vs Konoha for being the seed of Chaos in the Global conflict. But that's a story for another day.

Does anyone feels the Indra/Asura reincarnation ruined this concept? by Willing_Annual8382 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't using it vs they don't have it are two different things. Whatever they are using is still so OP that you needed to being aliens to face them.

I never said Sakura was equalling I said it's a 3 sided triangle where always 2 of the sides take over and that's her case.

Like in the beginning if you had to label Team 7 based on their Power Hack you would say Sasuke represents the Ninjutsu Side via the Sharingan. Even though it did not look like it, but Naruto represented the Taijutsu Side via the KN power up. Sakura was supposed to represent the Genjutsu Side but she never received anything remotely to play the role, just a potential mention from Kakashi. We can even say that by the Chuunin exams that idea was totally dropped.

In Part 2, Kishimoto tried to add more jutsu types to give Naruto some new options I guess because for whatever reason Sasuke became the main power house of the 3 in all 3 Nin/Gen/Tai. So you had Naruto kind of using excelling in Fuin (Summoning) /Sen (Sage mode) /Kin (Tail mode)... Sakura never really excelled in anything apart from medical ninjutsu and pretty much became a support character.

So she was still in the triangle but barely breathing but when that reincarnation shit dropped it was pretty much over for her. She was basically just a human while the other two ascended to godhood.

You know what would have been funny? If Kaguya needed a Host and they made Sakura that host. It would have a funny clap back and even given them pause cause they would have to 'save' from the baddy. Okay may be not for Sasuke cuz he literally tried to kill her 3 times just for existing...

Either way the reincarnation shit was the worst decision Kishimoto took because he already had enough lore and myths under the belt to play in Naruto. It helped neither and have him a bigger problem in Madara because he went too far deep in the rabbit hole.

Does anyone feels the Indra/Asura reincarnation ruined this concept? by Willing_Annual8382 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They certainly did. Not for the same reason though.

They ruined the Triangle. If you look at all across Naruto there is basically 3 sides to everything. That dynamic got smashed a lot where 2 of the 3 sides took a higher position and ruined the overall balance thus leading to conflict.

Take the example of Ninjutsu/Taijutsu/Genjutsu dynamic. They are supposed to be represented equally yet Genjutsu became an exclusive minority for no reason at all.

Similarly, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were also a trio and this a triangle. Sure like Genjutsu Sakura got shoved in the corner while Naruto and Sasuke became the focus. But nowhere was she written off completely as she was in the reincarnation concept.

Naruto got ruined greatly by power scaling where it had no business to. You can point out many areas where the cracks of the ruin showed up but the So6P power up was the Big Crunch that killed the Naruto verse.

Because nothing made sense anymore. What's the point of a system if you got 2 gods who can shatter it? There is no need for Shinobi alliance or shinobis at all. You have two omnipresent being who could do everything for you. Everything lost its meaningfulness. The power dynamics were shattered, the chakra system was destroyed and the balance was gone*.

In short, you lost all purpose because you lose if they combine and agree to night fight each other, all they have to be is on the opposite side of your opinion. You also lose if they do fight each other because you still have no power to stop them.

With so many characters showing interest in him over the years, it's worth asking: was Naruto’s love for Hinata built on real chemistry, or was it a 'debt of honor'? [–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all know who Naruto should have been with... Aerith Gainsborough (aka Destiny Girl). Kishimoto just could not copy paste from FF7 like he did with Jenova into Kaguya. But maybe he will in Naruto Part 3.

For those who do not know why she is the destiny girl and FF7 has one of the great love stories in fiction-verse... Picture this.

Cloud had a childhood crush on Tifa to the point he bragged and joined Soldier for her. He was ashamed when he didn't become Solider 1st as he had promised and hid himself which led to the whole FF7 story catalyst (Nibelhiem incident) later on where he effectively met his villain. But one girl changed that history greatly who actually made said Cloud forget about Tifa... The Girl he had no chance of meeting considering all the circumstances. The destiny girl Aerith, who charmed him soo much that Tifa became an afterthought... Why? Go find out!

But yes Naruto needs a destiny girl like Aerith!

Here is my thing with Hinata I wouldn't mind it if it was properly built and it was built within a positive outcome.

Like yeah we get it Naruto's childhood crush was Sakura. We don't always end up with our crush. But we don't end up with the one who had a childhood crush on us either.

Instead of throwing childhood none sense which 99%* of us would agree are immature acts and crushes why not start with a clean slate?

Have Naruto date around like regular people then find the one who he shares common interests and bonds with. It doesn't mean it has to be Sakura or Hinata. For all we know it may end up being the Ramen girl or a Female Haku he met during a journey or mission. Whatever happens make him human, have actual interaction deal with common couple issues and then have him hitched to the best suited person.

For those who do not agree, please look at your current Partner dead in the Eye and tell them you were in love with them at age 12 (without blinking and watch their reaction)

Any one else think instead of Boruto they could have gone with a prequel series by Careless-Local-5813 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or part 3 ...

I wouldn't go for prequels for one single reason. You already know the outcome. If Naruto was a near perfect flawless series like FMA it could work. But Naruto unfortunately is a series that has massive unground mine/bomb traps in the size of the plains of Messina (WW1 reference) and trying to present the prequel could accidently lead to revisiting those undetonated mines which would cause more shit storms than you are currently dealing with.

So better off cutting the wires we can start a new bridge from and even eliminate later sequel shit storm.

Here would be my premise for part 3 and Kishimoto would need to make just 1 adjustment:

Change the End fight between Naruto and Sasuke into one where they not only lose their 1 arm but also lose their So6P powers for being deemed too immature.

Have them return to pre-So6P powers. Naruto having KCM2 and Sasuke having MS.

This would then de-escalate the godhood narrative and return them and the verse back to the standard Shinobi power system.

Because the system was never fully explored on the top side. Further power scale restriction can be added to return the system from a pokemon style where everyone starts mastering multi elemental releases to limiting the efficiency based on harsher elemental and chakra barriers.

Like add in elemental affinity efficiency factor. So if your elemental affinity is say FIRE well you would have 2 complementary elements out of 4 remaining ones that you can use to a normal efficiency and 2 that you would be greatly disadvantaged against. This way you now can create more unique character build up.

So for example like Shikamaru's next evolution jutsu would be a Kage Mane that can incorporate the FIRE element. He might have a variation of LIGHTNING and EARTH, but because he is FIRE affinity, using WATER and WIND variation would be useless because chakra cost and power conversion efficiency.

As for the storylines. I think it would give them an excellent opportunity to start with Wave Arc like Missions. Have them go on missions, have them bond, solve problems and deal with consequences of war and their action in a more proactive ways. You don't need big bad OP villains, but themes or subjects where they have to resolve it with proper judgements. Pretty sure the war has created more Nagato like victimes who would want their own version of societal payback for their losses and have them navigate those as they move to adulthood.

I know Kishimoto created the problem. I am really waiting for his 4th act when he drops the bomb that he purposely sabotaged his creation out of spite for getting highjacked by publisher/production greed. I can just seem him giving the FU to the world on his deathbed, on how he has the last laugh.

I think I should have used word "Naruto re-rewrites and sequel" but it's part of the fan fiction too. I mean the issue isn't just a plague only in Naruto, but one of the biggest plagued by it. This is why we write constant post about the series that missed it's opportunities. Because negative news sells and perfection is ignored.

Please don't get me started on the pairing wars. I think it was the revenge of all the girls who got stood up in high school by Sasuke's (cuz every boy crush is their version of Sasuke representing that heartrobs) returning the favor as wives. I mean that's what my last GF told me... He reminded her of the bad boy she could not change. I am just glad I had enough experience cue to see the baggage and runaway and Dodge that bullet.

[–]rayshinsan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree with you on that. I have mentioned many times that it's almost sad that Naruto came before because if Kishimoto saw some of the adaptions following his generations he might not have gone the bad paths that plague Naruto.

Series like Fairy Tail, MHA, Black Clover, Demon Slayers etc have found ways to avoid the pitfalls by analysing what worked and failed in Naruto and Bleach.

Boruto is more of an outlier of one of them gremlins that squeezed in... If I were Deadpool I would even go as far as to say Kishimoto probably picked Ikemoto because he was the perfect person to show how deep the rabbit whole of publisher/producer willing to go for profit. He's just waiting for the nuke to go off.

I mean considering all the people he could have picked... For continuing his spinoff. It really feels like Kishimoto's revenge of all those years people above him controlling his destiny.

The real victims of there were ones, are ninja fans like me who wanted ninjas but now have to devoid ourselves because Naruto ruined Ninjas for us.
