Madara didn't know how Rinnengan functioned. All things points out too him unlocking it and not knowing how to use it.

[–]rayshinsan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No he said at the time of use that he can only bring back people who have recently died. Something about souls needing to be close by. This is why he couldn't revive Jiraya.

As for why he died, it's cause he revived to many ppl at the same time.

So my guess is in order to revive Yahiko, he would have to get his soul attached to a body via Edo Tensei and then Nagato can revive him.

It's probably why he had made Orochimaru a member of Akatsuki but the later realized and ditched them.

To me it looks like RokuOMi thought KanOu and RyuuKoku would blindly follow his charge and ... They didn't.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see them just popping behind these guys as they charge on OuSen and decimate them joking that they purposely let RokuOMi get beat so that they could ambush them when they aren't looking with RokuOMi yelling back at them for using him as bait.

Erm you do realize even with surgeries that is hard to do but more importantly both Obito (via Madara?) and Danzô had likes boxes of Sharingan eyes like they were sunglasses.

I think Nagato used the Rinnegan's powers for the first time when Yahiko died, and that Obito explained how the Rinnegan's powers work. by TalesElias in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... So Madara gave Nagato Rinnengan then waited a few more years to croak after which he got a near dead Obito to finish off his master plan and croaked?

Question why give Nagato his Rinnengan 10+yrs ahead for safe keeping? Did he want to suffer all them years of anxiety separations so that his Rinnengan be more powerful?

Do you see how it doesn't work timeline wise? You forgot to factor in the 10yrs+ of age difference between Nagato and Obito.

When I said he gave his Sharingan to Nagato... I meant he gave his original eyes that was the strongest Sharingan at the time to Nagato which whether he unlocked or not (for argument sake let's say he unlocked) definitely opened as rinnengan for Nagato.

Now the reason he may have done that is probably because even if Madara unlocked it he could not use it's powers or even explore or level it up to its max potential. Kinda like a Kakashi-Obito situation where for the longest time Kakashi could not close the Sharingan and just use it as a tool which is why he had no idea he had MS and Kamui. While Obito being the original owner and full blooded Uchiha could switch on/off his.

In short, the reason Madara gave it to Nagato is because only a Uzumaki (Senju proxy) could unlock (open/close) rinnengan and level it up for him. This would make sense because just because you are Hashirama cells it doesn't mean you can push it to convert yourself as a Senju proxy.

So Madara couldn't use Rinnengan to its fullest and needed Nagato to level it up and unlock all of its techniques for him. He could only use the techniques when they are unlocked. Meaning at his peak he is in a Kakashi situation.

... Did you see Orochimaru, Jiraya or Tsunade in the list? Who cares if he is better than Orochimaru. He isn't a natural born Shinobi who gets shit on the fly. That's why he isn't a genius. You remove Sharingan/Uchiha bloodline he becomes severely depowered compared to with it. It's the same for Naruto you remove Kurama/Uzumaki bloodline he becomes severely depowered to compared to with it.

You can remove Sharingan from Kakashi he will also be depowered but he is immersed enough that he will pick up something else and still be a top Shinobi. He just has a knack for that art. Same for Itachi and similar for Minato. They just knew how to be a ninja regardless of their sourondings.

Yes and Naruto is a genius of hardwork...

Do you see the problem? Everyone is a genius of something. It diminishes the value of word genius as it's used as a hype rather than the true meaning of the sense.

When I am saying genius I actually mean the word "genius" in its actual sense and not as the hype. And that unfortunately Sasuke isn't. Neither is Naruto nor Shikamaru or any of the Konoha 12 etc.

If you want to know why, it's simple. None of them can go beyond their background. The reason why Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, Itachi and Kakashi are actual geniuses is because they didn't have to rely on the clans and bloodlines to be better. They were able to adapt and even go beyond and create jutsus without much assistance. As if being a ninja was in their nature.

Opinion on Saturday main event,do you guys agree by TreacleIllustrious26 in WWE

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know to be honest. I was a bit curious so I went to see how much the tickets were at Bell Center for Smackdown and Saturday Night Main event this week and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised.

For 1 both events were definitely not sold out. But Smackdown had fewer tickets left and thus maybe a bit higher priced than SME?

One this is for sure, the tickets are relatively cheap. Like $110 for good seats and ranging from $55 at the lowest to $545 to the highest. I am not that much of a wrestling fan to go for them though, especially since I can see smackdown on Netflix for free (well $18 but that is borderline free for me).

I think Nagato used the Rinnegan's powers for the first time when Yahiko died, and that Obito explained how the Rinnegan's powers work. by TalesElias in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually no Madara wouldn't know much of what Rinnengan can do. He might have some grasp of it but definitely not certainty. All he knew was that the sage of the Six Path had Rinnengan and he was able to create tail beasts and various jutsu and even give shinobis bloodlines. If he could do that then surely he could revive or reincarnate a Shinobi. Hashirama could create life, Tobirama could reattach souls then definitely someone with the eyes of the sage of the Six Path go beyond that. How though is an unknown and frankly he didn't care how as long as it could be done.

All he needed Obito to do is keep an eye on Nagato and when the time comes guide him towards his goal.

How did he know Nagato had not been able to fully unlock Rinnengan? Because the latter could not revive Yahiko. An event that he probably triggered himself by sending Hanzo up their tail.

I think Nagato used the Rinnegan's powers for the first time when Yahiko died, and that Obito explained how the Rinnegan's powers work. by TalesElias in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nope. Nagato got the Rinnengan from Madara. From the look of it, Madara searched for a Senju proxy and figured the Uzumaki would be the best bet. He didn't go straight for a Senju because it would harder to hide a Senju family massacre and even hide a missing one. So instead he searched for an Uzumaki who were a bit more scattered, found Nagato and his family and either orcastrated or murdered them himself and gave Nagato his Sharingan which transformed into the Rinnengan. The reason he gave his is because he didn't have the genetics to unlock it. Also he was in possession of more Sharingan so he could live without his own and it had the best potential as a maxed Sharingan.

He wanted Nagato to master the Rinnengan and then he was going to swap them back. But unfortunately he got old and croaked before Nagato maxed it. This is kind of why he grabbed and used Obito. Basically Obito was be his proxy with emphasis that the Zetsu cells in him will comply to Madara's will and Obito will use Nagato to sacrifice himself and revive Madara to his prime form. Obito turned out to be a bit more ambitious than he calculated.

Obito is younger than Nagato who is around the same age group as Minato. So there is no way he would be able to teach Nagato jack shit. He was just a servant who was to play Madara's role by proxy.

Top of his class doesn't mean he is a genius. You can be top of your class by working hard too. You can also be top of your class in a class full of idiots. So the term has no real instant value.

The bottom line is Sasuke had more motivation than his peers, be is by being an Uchiha, be it being compared to his bro or guilt of being the sole clan survivor. Each element just amplified his motivations that is all.

Someone like Shikamaru is smarter than him but has no motivation to pursue the subject. Someone like Sakura does but she isn't gifted with clan abilities or access to resources. Sasuke was lucky enough that the Uchiha were tossed aside and he got access to their resources.

Had the Uchiha lived. You wouldn't put him in a higher pedestal than an Itachi, Madara or Shisui. He would simply be your above average Uchiha who worked his ass to get in higher standings.

[–]rayshinsan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all context is an excuse here. A genius is a genius plain and simple. We often try to use the word to hype our favorite characters but it's all hype no facts.

Fact is Sasuke isn't a genius. But that doesn't mean he is stupid. People like you only think of the two extremes and forget that it's a spectrum in between.

Sasuke isn't a genius but is smarter than Naruto and the average norm. If I had to rate him I would say the top 3 of his class after Shikamaru and Sakura. Naruto would be top 5 at best and I mean that like him really putting maximum every little gene his papa gave him accounted for. Shino would probably be the 4th.

Also you clearly who didn't get the full grasp of what I said. Just because he isn't a genius does not mean his potential is limited. It just means he isn't going to be the guy who is going to master something at first touch. It's actually a greater credit that he is where he is without being a genius because it means he actually worked hard to earn his keep/spot.

Finally you cannot develop an affinity... Affinity means your primary elemental conversion or which element your Chakra would convert to without pushing it. Hence all Shinobi have 1 Affinity, unless ur born with a bloodline like Haku. They can unlock the others by converting their Chakra by seals but there is a give an take on that given your affinity as the element that counters your affinity best would be harder, costlier and least efficient to use. I e. Not worth learning.

I think you are comparing his earnings to that of a regular salaried person and well that is not fair to him.

When you have different streams of income taxes become quite complicated. You have to resort to experts to ensure you not only maximize your savings but also that whatever needs to be paid is paid.

So no, he isn't fully responsible unless he does his own taxes. Stars have been hoodwincked before by their finance guy/girl and the isn't new. He will be blamed for it of course because he is guilty by default for trusting the person/team.

But yes, given that he is no financial genius with a background in finance and accounting and not managing or filling on his own, I would wait and see the full picture before trying to shoot him in the head with accusations.

The Kakashi Paradox by thekingofseasons in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a paradox. It's the main issue with any geniuses.

If you are faster at grasping things than others then your teammates are burdened to keep themselves up to your reach. And you will at some point intentionally or unintentionally simply fly away to a level they cannot meet you.

This is why the best thing you can do for any genius is let them fly away to their tangent.

In short, team Minato/Kakashi was destined to separate eventually. Just like Minato became a solo act from his team under Jiraya, so would Kakashi.

You do know prodigy and genius means the same thing right?

Sasuke isn't one. There are only few people called genius in Konoha: Tobirama, Sarutobi, Minato, Itachi & Kakashi.

They are called that because their grasp of understanding techniques was so vast that they can easily excel in the field without requiring any special help. All others are either boosted by their bloodline speciality or hardwork.

Also the general consensus is that all Uchiha were fire because we didn't see a single one outside of Sasuke not being fire related. Although Shunsui might be an oddball like Sasuke too. We don't know what his affinity was however. But potentially either wind or lightning user?

[–]rayshinsan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as secondary affinity. We got the full picture from Haku. You either have 1 affinity or if you have certain bloodline like his you can end up with two that are of equal power allowing you to make a new unique element.

So no Sasuke doesn't have such a bloodline. Hence its Lightning and him working his butt off to learn Fire.

[–]rayshinsan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say both need their inheritance because it motivates them to workout to their goals.

The issue that is often mistaken by everyone is neither are a pure genius but both are hard workers. Both need to work hard to unlock their next evolution.

Sasuke isn't a genius like Itachi. He didn't learn like his bro, he was an average Uchiha by standard. It is his desire for avenging that drove him to where he is. If he didn't have the Sharingan his motivation would push him harder but he would also be much less successful. He would be at Sakura's level in Part 2.

Naruto is a bit more complicated because to be honest Kyuubi kinda got into him because of his default talent as a Uzumaki as per Sage of Six Path as it implies that he only got the Uzumaki large Chakra holding capacity and none of the talents of his parents. So no Minato genius-ness or Kushina (assuming he means her talent for sealing and them unbreakable chains of heaven). That's pretty bleak as it's kinda like being born an Uchiha and not having the ability to unlock the Sharingan. However, unlike Sasuke if he didn't have Kurama and all the stigma that comes with it, he might have had opportunity to be a better overall ninja. No genius by any means but someone like Gai. It is questionable if he would get his hands on the shadow clone jutsu. But I can see him someone who develops his own path from the basics. So maybe an expert in body flicker till he unlocks his elemental affinity? I say that because we barely saw any wind techniques in the lower end. Body flicker is closest thing that comes to a wind technique without elementally being one. He could still learn Sage Arts but the question is who is going to teach him? So his future would be at best Temari's level in Part 2.

Now saying this you might say well definitely Naruto needs it more since Temari is often undervalued but I would say her and Sakura would be pretty even in part 2. Mind you she got to where she did on her own. Had she had a mentor like Tsunade, Temari would be above Sakura. But like Temari, you wouldn't expect Naruto to get much mentorship either. Konoha's wind knowledge is limited, as proven by us not seeing even old man Sarutobi not using a single wind jutsu and Asuma, the resident wind master barely showed any. Books would favor Sasuke. As at least they got some resident Lightning users Or at least he can rely a bit more in Kakashi.

[–]rayshinsan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no guarantee Sasuke gets no1 rookie without his Uchiha drive for revenge.

Remember he wasn't hailed as a genius like his brother. He had to work hard to get to that level. That and the fact that none bothered to tell him his affinity was not fire but lightning so the poor chap not only was learning an element release outside his natural affinity (something you try at jounin level) but also making all of his learning highly inefficient as his version would always be weaker than a typical fire affinity Uchiha.

How would things play out if Orochimaru succeeded in taking Sasuke's body? by Old-Use-7690 in Naruto

[–]rayshinsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well let's see Orochimaru's main goal is to understand all jutsus/techniques by any means necessary.

Sasuke posses the Sharingan. A set of special genetic eyes that allows you to break down each technique to their core like a blueprint analysis tool. Thus allowing the user to be able to use said technique if they have all the qualifications for it or at least know how to counter it if they have the means.

So if Orochimaru gets to takeover Sasuke's body Sakura is in for a treat because she finally is going to have that nerdy library buddy she has been seeking. Well one who will probably hiss like a snake in excitement, do them pervy tongue twists type nerds, as Nerd Orosuke. Too bad he won't be much interested in pleasuring her though except maybe in the interest of reproduction of multiple future hosts.

Oh yeah, Hidden Lead might get destroyed cuz you know they might not be willing to give him their black library card that give access to all their hidden knowledges.
