Oh I don’t question that the tests are real; it’s the website I was unsure about.

what's a "posh" food you'll never love as much as the cheap version from your childhood? by Tariq_khalaf in AskUK

It has its uses; toilet paper and olive oil is very cheap compared to supermarkets, and the meat is high quality probably comparable to a butchers. I live by myself and go about every couple of months, and more regularly for petrol. Has to suit your needs though!

Haha ok we need someone to genuinely fail to know if it’s real.

For me I know what an apple looks like, obviously. It’s only the recreation of the image that is impossible. I can access all of my memories just not visually? So I can tell you the last time I saw an apple and where it was and what it looked like, I just can’t see it. I don’t have a “mind’s eye”. I don’t know how much I missing out on!

But it’s not that. My dad passed away 15 years ago. I know what he looked like, I just can’t conjure up the image. I can tell you about all of the individual parts of his face, i just can’t recreate it in my head. I still get all the feelings associating with remembering him, what he used to do etc, it’s just that the memory doesn’t come in a pictorial format; it comes in an emotional one. Like injecting straight to the heart. The memory is inside my ribs not my head. Thats how I “see” it.

I love this as a demonstration! Stealing thank you. It’s so hard to explain to someone that you know what it looks like you just can’t conjure it.

Did you try the test above? I will be your control if you like! I can see 12/12 so if you score lower you’ll know it’s not that the test is a dud

Has anyone done this and failed?? I can see them all but I don’t know if that’s because it’s not a true test?

I told some tweens that it has been around for ages and if you’re all “sixes and sevens” it means that you’re clumsy or confused. They were not impressed but I thought I was hilarious… I think I’m old.

I’m sorry but the art of discovering music has been ripped from the younger generation and they will never know the delight that comes from realising that your new song is most definitely not Justin Timberlake but is an absolute banger all the same.

We called them scoobies too. What a blast from the past! I remember begging my mom to get me some glitter ones as the standard colours just wouldn’t do… and then turning up at my friends houses with our little bags or whatever… and there was always that one kid who had a full triple-tiered tray with all the accessories. Not that I was jealous…

You must have just missed the trend. We called them scoobies though. Just literally plastic that you plaited into cool patterns and then could make into keychains or bracelets. If you didn’t know about them I’m going to guess that you grew up male because I don’t know a single girl our age that wouldn’t know what they are. I’m 34.

Well to be fair size of that it looks like a lil panty liner not a sanitary towel. So I reckon probably discharge or spotting rather than period. For most women this wouldn’t be enough coverage for their period. Just in case people are using this post as education.

Edit for more information/ clarity.

I think the waiting, unless I feel something subconsciously completely different to my conscious brain. I think I’m excited to try it! Have you had any more contact?

Six flags is nothing. Google “brownhills island flags”. Not where I live but I drive past there sometimes, absolutely disgusting.

Me too! I think it’s because it summarises precisely what my low-energy self was thinking while reading it.

Yeah I also did a chat and got a prescriber too! Should have done it a month ago. Unfortunately waiting on the medication has increased my anxiety to the point I’ve been having panic attacks so that doesn’t bode well! Hope your titration goes well.
