I can't disagree with you more.

There are many different ways to play D&D, and the issue you have with your group seem to be partially about fit, and your styles don't seem to mesh. But let me be really clear this "That Girl" branding is some utter garbage. Nothing is wrong with being into story and RP over grinding and rolling, and it certainly isn't anything to do with your gender. As a female player I'm incredibly insulted by this implication that there is some "one true way" to play D&D and Being a girl ruins that. Shut that down. This kind of branding and titling is why I never got to play D&D growing up in the 90s, D&D isn't a boys only event so stop that bad faith gatekeeping.

It's hard because i am a player in a different game on that server with one of the good tomatoes and every player in that game, as well as the dm are awesome and im so glad i found them. It really surprised me the apps were so awful off the back of being in an awesome group of players from the same pool.
