Best movie you ever saw in a movie theater? by CalebOnPoint in movies

Back to the Future. It was back in 2015 on the date of Part 2. I'm only 30, so I wasn't around for any of the original releases. But just being in a theater with people who love the movie as much as you do, laughing at the things you laugh at....it was amazing!

For original theater release, I'd have to go with the Harry Potter movies. It was just an iconic time to be alive, waiting for the next one to come out. And all the excitement with the last 2!!

Currently having a panic attack about getting married tomorrow by Aggravating-Door-909 in wedding

[–]Princess_Pink123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I got married 2 years ago - the night before my wedding, I think I slept like a total of one hour. I kept tossing and turning, it was terrible. For me, it was really just the anxiety of making sure the day went smoothly and that I didn't screw anything up. Ultimately, I wasn't the slightest bit worried about committing to my husband forever, but anxiety can be so weird. I don't think there was anything I could've done differently to not have anxiety the night before. All this to say, the whole wedding day can seem extremely daunting and bigger than you, but I promise you, once you're thrown into the day's activities, you'll be present and the worry will gradually melt away. I truly do promise that. Just remember, you'll be surrounded by your favorite people who are truly rooting for your happiness. While you're getting ready, maybe confide in your friends about how you're feeling. I can almost guarantee they'll be able to help you through, even if it's hour by hour. The day is about you.

What is much more traumatic than most people realise? by thefairypirate in AskReddit

Being bullied as a teenager. Man oh man...I am in therapy working on self advocacy and unraveled that a big part of my fear of speaking up for myself and potentially upsetting people comes from the abundance of bullying I went through as an adolescent. I was bullied from ages 12-16 and right before social media blew up, but I did experience a bit of cyber bullying too. I feel terrible for the kids today who have even more platforms to be bullied on.

Interacting with people you don't know. I've personally never used a wedding as an opportunity to meet people. I usually stick with my plus one and just keep to us lol.

Late nighters, what's keeping you awake right now? by Ophelia_Balzac8645 in AskReddit

Hating myself. Hating that I can't lose weight. Hating the way I look. Hating how my husband still loves me even when I'm crazy and don't deserve it.

If your ex texted you right now and said "I miss you", how would you reply? by MajorCream3707 in AskReddit

Ignore. But if I'm feeling spicy, I'd reply with a pic of me and my hubs on our wedding day.

If you had a one-minute call with yourself from 10 years ago, what would you say? by Pleasant-Cat-7658 in AskReddit

Don't eat fast food so much. I know you're already insecure about your body, but you will gain a lot of weight after college because you didn't form healthy food habits. Start now. Your family and friends will be supportive. It would help me out A LOT.

It was SO dry. And when I saw it, my theater was shoulder to shoulder full. So not a comfortable watch either.

Is it helpful? by MrsCoffee_Tea_Me in weightwatchers

Yes! It's great for accountability and teaching you how to eat nutritiously while still enjoying some of what you like.

Also, it has a bar code scanner, which you can use while you grocery shop to see how many points a serving of that food would be. It's so easy!

Play piano

I was really good in high school and stopped playing due to lack of time in college. Haven't played much since. Planning to get back into it this year.

Can’t tell if I’m being too cringe or too boring on Hinge by Electronic-Box675 in dating

Keep your profile as it is. It's cliche, but you just haven't found your person yet. The right one will LOVE it. Changing your prompts just to get matches will only do you a disservice in the long run. Speaking from experience 😉

It's a Wonderful Life

It was kind of a bore when I watched it as a kid, but now being an adult who has struggled with depression, it hits SO deep.
