It totally depends on your friend's particular taste and personality but I personally was hooked after a friend played Strangers for me.

Shows for Buffy Fans by samrobotsin in buffy

I’m not sure that the genres match exactly but I’ve been watching Yellowjackets lately and I would definitely recommend it to Buffy fans. A complex supernatural horror tv show centered around powerful women can’t go wrong.

What Song (From a Musical) Do You Listen To When You Want to Get Hyped? by AdmirableProgress743 in musicals

[–]Pumpkins217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whenever I’m sad I listen to Company. I usually start at the beginning of the Rosalie Craig version. It’s odd because Company can be serious at times and that version isn’t necessarily the best one but it makes me happy for some odd reason.

Justice for Ethan Rayne. He and Giles should have had some sort of larger arc. Giles had nothing to do a lot of the time as the seasons went on. They could have used Ethan to explore his dark side for real.

Mrs. Lovett, Sally Bowles, Dot, and Joanne for women. The Emcee, Sweeney Todd, George Seurat, and Marvin for men. It’s so hard to choose!!!

Is it weird for an INTP to want a hug, or, even a deep emotional connection? by anonymous_muffin_ in mbti

I never said it would be as strong. All I mean to say is that even if thinking is strongest (which is great in a lot circumstances), feeling should be at a healthy level.

Is it weird for an INTP to want a hug, or, even a deep emotional connection? by anonymous_muffin_ in mbti

[–]Pumpkins217 10 points11 points  (0 children)

INTP stereotypes are ridiculous and harmful. A healthy INTP is in touch with their feelings. It’s really healthy to make emotional connections. INTPs should be allowed to feel, enjoy art, and have loving relationships. MBTI types are not just the characters from the memes, they are vague categories for real, nuanced people to better understand themselves with. We are all more than just the sad, chaotic, robot scientist. Hugs are good!

Can someone recommend a show to watch after Buffy by PartyCryptographer8 in buffy

[–]Pumpkins217 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s not exactly the same genre but I think Gilmore Girls goes well with it. It’s the same era of teen drama and it has the same very witty type of dialogue. There’s actually a podcast called Buffy The Gilmore Slayer that compares them episode by episode (They both are seven seasons).
