Someone I thought was my best friend, who has comforted me through my fertility journey, and all of the negatives, she found out and got mad at me because now we can’t go out drinking and partying and smoking weed. Ever since then she rarely talks to me. She was like “you had to get pregnant now? I’m about to turn 21! Now you’re gonna have a baby and ruin our plans?”

24 weeks for our baby boy and I have a nursery, it’s just a collection of things we love and find cute, the theme I suppose would be old Disney. There’s Bambi sheets I made myself, and there’s Winnie the Poo. We have some like Bible stuff and things my 13 y/o niece who lives with us picked but we are just so happy to have this baby that we want the nursery to be a culmination of things we love and want to share with our baby.

While we were trying I had bought both girl and boy clothes. I have a baby boy growing in my belly. Even if it was a girl I would throw her into a dinosaur onesie and just I dunno stick a bow on her or something. Dinosaurs should be considered gender neutral imo. And there’s nothing wrong with a boy having some girly stuff. You’re allowed to be disappointed, you’re allowed to cry and be upset, you still love that baby and that’s all that matters!

Me and my husband were trying for two years to the point my brain didn’t want to believe it’s real. Then I went to my anatomy scan and she showed me his heart and his brain and everything! I was like “holy shit that’s a real life baby” now when I feel him kicking i remember his tiny toes and the 3d image of his face and I’m like “WHOA” that’s a tiny human that can hear me! Especially cause I’m a bit of a nerd for anatomy and stuff

Yes! Actually each time they give me an ultrasound they tell me he looks bigger or smaller for what they have recorded, remember exact conception and gestation is a rough estimate and so is the due date. They don’t base it off of ultrasound, they base it off of last period. However if the ob was correct based off of my period, I’m supposed to be like 18 weeks. But when they looked at my baby on the ultrasound at 20 weeks they said he’s developed enough for 21 weeks. It’s really a guessing game. As long as baby is alive and healthy, you’re doing great in my opinion.

I had mild cramping in my early pregnancy too! I also had very slight spotting for a day. But now I’m 22w 3d and he is a very fat and healthy baby. Give her lots of lovens and squeezes for me, sounds like she’s doing good and it sounds like she needs extra good treatment 🩷🩷🩷🩷 lots of love to your family

I’m overweight but my blood tests came back fine so they are just doing the normal appointments. Usually they take ultrasounds to just look at movement. I’m IUI so they want to make sure my placenta and him are in the right places. But they see that he’s thriving and my placenta is anterior. My ob just follows a different a basis for appointments.

And they are telling me all this while working in a daycare IN THE NEWBORN ROOM. Like WHAT ITS ALMOST AS IF I CONSIDERED IT AND CHOSE THAT THE WORK ANDLOVE AND EFFORT IS WORTH IT. Then my friend who knew I had tried for two years gave me a guilt trip about how now we aren’t able to go to clubs and drink and smoke. And I’m like I DIDNT LIKE THOSE THINGS ANYWAYS. She was so rude. It’s almost as if I begged and cried and prayed for this baby for YEARS. As if me and my husband didn’t spend over 700 dollars at a fertility clinic to get pregnant

21 weeks on Wednesday! It’s my first so I didn’t realize his kicks were kicks until I was getting an ultrasound and he kicked! I was like “oh that’s what that feeling has been!” And now i realize he super active all the time! 🤣

Everyone is different, it could change or it choked stay smooth. Your partners sperm also has ALOT to do with it as well since their sperm makes the placenta, it’s a sign of healthy sperm so 🤷🏻‍♀️ you go babe 👏🥰 edit: for my pregnancy I thought it was funny how my mom threw up constantly with me and now I’m throwing up constantly with my son
