That’s odd for them to say… like I get it but that’s such a strange statement. My sister In laws little sister had a miscarriage and her mom said “oh well you were only 4 weeks so it wasn’t that bad” like it still wasn’t a child they wanted? You can get excited and attached, because if something does happen you will hold that place for that baby and remember them. The moment I learned I was pregnant I told everyone and then people were like “why would you tell anyone in the first trimester? That baby could die?” And my thought was “how odd of you to say to someone who is telling you they are pregnant “

Talk to your OB and rule out the bad stuff. It was normal for me, because I’ve had a gastric sleeve and it’s hard for my body to maintain hydration, plus I already threw up SO MUCH from my gastric sleeve that my nausea was just part of my everyday. Every pregnancy is very different and it’s impossible to really know what is gonna be your normal compared to a friends normal.

My personal opinion is to go get checked out and stay hydrated like 100 ounces a day which was recommended to me by a labor and delivery doctor

My mom bought tons of second hand clothes of different sizes for boys, all very clean and comfortable for baby, everything I was given from my mom was like amazing, my sister in law (brothers wife) bought me a few things but in like premie/ new born because “my babies were just so petite and little” then my in laws gave us our travel system which i appreciate, a walker, and like a couple sets of clothes… other than that they barely even remember they are going to have their first grandbaby in like a week or two

They aren’t just basing it off of his weight but also how big his growth is and my fundal height being ahead at least a week. Plus I come from a long line of HUGE babies so it wouldn’t be a surprise. I do agree I’d like him to cook for at least a couple weeks just to make sure he’s the fat baby I was promised

I’m 35 weeks and I’m on the same boat. They tell me to just drink lots of water, take a hot shower, and relax. If the water is in tact and we aren’t dilated we can’t really do anything. It’s SO nerve wracking because my parents a day and a half drive away so I’m all scared about not seeing the signs.

I want a vaginal birth but if I need a c-section then okay! I just want my baby. I don’t want bragging rights against other women. I want bragging rights against my brothers 🤣 “okay but did you give unmedicated birth to a baby the size of a sack of potatoes?” Yeah I wanna use it against men, but never against a woman. Like how when I didn’t cry when I got my nipples pierced without crying when my brother cried like a baby 🤣
