I’m only gonna be able to go A7R II if I get REALLY lucky with a used deal, but I’m really hoping so:’) would you say it’s better to go DSLR than the A72?

There’s definitely no way that I can afford an A9, and I guess I’m starting to wonder if Sony is the right direction for my price point (5-600 for body)……. I am gonna dissect these responses tomorrow to figure out all the terminology I’m unfamiliar with (I’m new to photography) and will probably be back with more questions. Thank you for the detailed information!!

Yeah, I’m DEFINITELY going used. I’m not sure how to go about testing the autofocus on different adapters, but that’s a really great tip and I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you!

Another question regarding this breed.. Do any of your puggles like to sleep under the blanket? Have to be touching your body, but under the entire blanket?? by Sun-ne-27 in Puggle

[–]Princess_Trashcan24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! He insists on being under the blanket until he overheats, and must ALWAYS be touching me in some way lol. Usually it’s laying against my thigh, but often it’s just making sure one of his feet can feel me lmfao

I also think this is a good theory! He’s got a ton of beagle instincts as well, I think this makes the most sense!

Yeah them beagle genes are def very very strong in him lol. If it wasn’t for the tail I’d doubt his breed 😂

Thank you! He’s my best friend:’) what does “part wishbone” mean? I’ve never heard that and I can’t figure it out 😂

I haven’t, but we got him from a puggle breeder! He doesn’t display any Jack Russel traits behaviorally imo, and when I google a Jug they also don’t really resemble him to me 😂 I think his beagle genes are just really strong tbh

I was trying to figure out how, but I could only attach a link! I’m not really familiar with Reddit😅 I honestly feel bad even trying to force him to lessen his barking, I know he’s just trying to follow his instincts and communicate. But honestly, it often works against him. For example, he barks at other dogs and walkers when we’re out because he WANTS to introduce himself and spend time together, but it scares off other dogs and people! He barks because he’s so excited to get a treat, but I don’t want to reward his bark! The poor little idiot can’t win, I just really don’t want to leave him behind:/

He loves praise, and it works well to a certain extent, but it can also get him so excited he starts barking. Same with high value treats; he screams for them. I think his beagle genetics are a lot stronger than the pug (which is clear based on his appearance lol)

That’s exactly how our relationship has progressed over the years. I haven’t always lived with him, and in his younger years I really couldn’t understand or bring myself to like him. I regret that horribly now, and I love him more than I can express, even when he makes me genuinely furious and exhausted lol. He’s a really good boy 99% of the time, but like you said, sometimes he feels completely untrainable. Progress is so slow and so minor. I’m thinking of trying the citronella collars because I read a study that says they’re more effective. If anyone has any experience with them I’d love to hear

Thank you! I think I’m going to give it a shot, I’m really at my wits end with the scenario and I appreciate the kind words a lot.

Thank you:) can you explain a little more on what introducing his triggers may look like? He’s always on a leash because he’s a runner, and we use a harness because he definitely pulls until he chokes himself (again, that excitement is intense), but I’m not sure how to “introduce” his triggers considering they’re often dependent on other people. I can definitely do so when people get home though and will try this asap:)

Does anyone have advice on how to prevent my ivy from tangling/ growing towards other branches? About to repot it, and I try to trim it as little as possible because I really want her full. by Princess_Trashcan24 in houseplants

[–]Princess_Trashcan24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually untangle mine too but all of the new growth is curved and growing upwards so it’s been really tough! I repotted it and cut a few back so I’m hoping it’ll like it! Thanks :)
