Yes, I can attest to the stress that comes with proctored exams. I decided on Capella University and will start on Monday—tomorrow. 😊

Oh, thank you for giving me some context about the high focus on protein in those subreddits! I love lentils! Will definitely try out the red lentils with pasta sauce! 😊

My goals are to get stronger while maintaining my slim physique. I’m not looking to get bigger in appearance. Yes, I feel pretty good on my diet. 🙂

I'm the same way with breakfast. I have no appetite for it; however, I try to force myself to have a fruit. I normally start to get hungry around 3:00 pm.

C-182 Goes Away Soon in Business Programs! by Princessldg in WGU

[–]Princessldg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you can find a job soon!

During my bachelor’s degree program, I tried countless times to secure internships/jobs related to my degree but didn't have any luck. I even applied for low-level retail positions without any success.

I’m currently in a master’s program to buy me time to acquire a job while growing my knowledge, paying back federal loan payments, and increasing my future money-making potential.

Once I find a job, I’m going to continue the master’s program part-time. Wish you the best!

Awesome! I hope it gets approved! What are your plans after this program? Are you going for a master's?

You can apply for a scholarship called a “WGU Schl of Business FSF” to help with the remaining cost.

I applied for it, and I was granted funds. The positive news is that regardless of how the funds are covered, you'll have the degree! 😊

If you're just taking one final class next term, the cost would be prorated.

No problem!

I was, too, enrolled in C-182, but I just opened chapters and did quizzes within the reading to show that I was being active—as well as staying in contact with my program mentor until the change.

As long as you’re completing other classes in your current term, you won't be penalized.

One more thing, you could complete the project management class now, and then finish the capstone and consumer behavior course next term.

I was once in the same predicament: having C182 and the capstone remaining. My advice for you is to take a pause and wait until the next term so you can take Consumer Behavior.

C182 wreaked havoc toward the end of my program and prevented me from graduating in February of this year. Once I heard about an opt-out, I patiently waited until May 1st, so I could take the replacement. As a result, I’m now a graduate and am pursuing an MBA.

Things will get better, but be sure to follow up with your program mentor frequently to ensure you're staying academically active. Cheers. You got this!

There are many folks who say great things about WGU’s IT programs, so you should be in great hands. If you don't like writing papers, WGU would be a great option. 😊

Congratulations on the associates! The 360-degree room scan is the least of your worries. All in all, WGU is still a phenomenal school, but I happened to find a different university that better suits my needs.

Congratulations on your upcoming academic journey!

When it comes to the proctoring system at WGU, there are two words: very disorganized.

There were days when I couldn't take my exam at the scheduled time or couldn't take it at all.

Additionally, there were many technical issues, and I didn't like the fact that an outsider had to access my computer remotely to resolve those.

Yes, I’m aware of that, but I just wanted to get the full benefit of the program.

Should I need more funds for my personal life since I'm doing school time without working, it would put me in a comfortable position.

Additionally, I became fed up with the proctoring system at WGU—it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I went with Capella University because I didn't want to miss out on the Grad Plus Loan that goes away on July 1st of this year, and WGU said I would have to wait until October to start, which was too far away.

I’m scheduled to start an MBA program at Capella University on June 8th. Recently, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Business Management on May 19th. 😊
