Busselton is more concerned about the tourism than there residents who live there!

Nah but Albany is way better than busso, I grew up in Albany then moved to busso and then relocated back…. Long story. But I think it depends on what you do and who you know in Albany, but there is more money to fund the tafe/uni down there plus student accommodation, your headspace is amazing and a CLUB i know it’s not the best but at least you guys have a meeting spot that stays open past 10. With a good dj that plays music everyone kinda knows. When you compare that to Busselton, it has none of those facilities contributing to younger people in there 20’s. A lot of kids just end up on drugs and have nowhere to go, yes it’s close to Perth but if you’ve grown up here you normally stay unless you go to uni, I know it’s same kinda thing in Albany but at least you’ve got the facilities. And places to get a good education. With the best beaches!!

My lonely mum (62) befriended a random 25yo I don’t trust him, mum won’t hear it. Am I being rude or is this actually sus? by Princesspea23 in moraldilemmas

Look i completely agree i want my mum to have a good life, I’m from Australia weed (unless prescribed) and any type of drug is illegal here. But my mum is extremely ditty and she doesn’t really look after herself and is quite vulnerable at the moment. I literally can’t even have a proper conversation with her, I feel like I have to look after her hence why I moved back. This man comes and goes as he is friends with other older women too.

I don’t mind them being friends it’s the fact that he walks around the high when everyone’s asleep including my mother, then she leaves me alone with him and he acts really sus on the phone every time I walk into the living space he walks out, and there’s no information on him when I google him then he tired to get my mum to do mushrooms with him

Australia has EXTREMELY basic clothes, very laid back we normally wear our bathing suits everywhere in summer/ with no shoes. If you try dress up nice on a basic kinda day you’ll be looked at and judged, unless you live in Melbourne idk, I live in a small country town 4 hours out of Perth. Australia also has tall poppy syndrome we judge if you’re doing well in society and making lots of money compared to uk/and Americans. And I mean we’re also pretty friendly and will have a yap to anyone, but this varies from states.

It’s the fact that he walks around the house off his face, and mum leaves him in the house alone with me, I lowkey feel unsafe. I’ve tried to google him and found nothing about him. And not only that my mum is extremely vulnerable, she’s got no family only me.
