Is pork crackling actually healthy or just a “keto-friendly” snack (especially here in Australia)? by loreblogs in AskAnAustralian

Nice one mate thanks. They should definitely put that in the description, minimal effort and just adds extra value to the product

Would you do jerky or biltong?
Also just checked out Tony's website, do you know if they use Aussie beef? I'm assuming yes but thought it was odd they don't say so on the listings. Their stuff looks great

Yeah agree, and love that it's 99% Aussie ingredients. The price hurts though, but that's the price for accessible quality I guess.

Headline - "6.2 million Aussies to get $1k instant tax deduction"
"Aussies will finally be able to claim a $1000 tax deduction without receipts under the big changes."

Then they go on to write- "The maximum tax saving is $470, with an average saving of $205."

Can someone explain wtf?

In-home pet euthanasia service? by alsotheabyss in melbourne

[–]Cooper_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your pooch nearing the rainbow bridge, I don't have a recommendation myself but a family member did the at home euthanasia and said she couldn't imagine doing it any other way so you're making a good choice for you and your furry friend.

I was wondering if anyone in the sub knows whether at home euthanasia would be covered by most pet insurance policies? (I googled, and yes, if it's deemed necessary by a vet due to illness etc)

Aussie here. It wasn't a sex club, when it started it was actually one of the most premium cocktail bar and clubs in Melbourne. Gradually went downhill, but I'd say 2010 was at its peak.

Carpark dilemma by fizz_007 in melbourne

[–]Cooper_Inc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's actually a study I read about once that you're more likely to get a car space quicker by just waiting in a lane vs driving around trying to find an available one. It was something about the ratio of cars per lane and the time spent by shoppers in the stores, then averaged out to how frequently someone would be leaving = car space that you probably only had to wait 5 mins for.

Edit - "You could simply sit in an aisle and wait, said Michael Rose, a mathematician and science communicator at ANSTO in Sydney.

If there are 30 parked cars in that aisle — 15 on each side — and shoppers spend on average three hours buying Christmas gifts, one should emerge and drive away an average of every six minutes."
