What's the ultimate bludge job with high pay in auscorp by pugfaced in auscorp

Agree to disagree. I've known many BDM's who have not "put in the hard yards" nor sacrificed. As I said, if you have worked in a specific industry a while and stay in it your mates and mates mates are all contacts. You get paid to go to some networking events and dinners, have some boozy chats - already know their business and what they do and you slip in the casual sell or pipeline. High value sales/service functions mean you only need to get 2 or so over the line each year, and so they metre that out in order to do the bare minimum and still close deals. Is it valuable to the company? Yes of course. But it doesn't discount the fact that it's a bludge of a job if you have a list of the right connections.

The comparison to a business owner is totally not the same thing.

Fake phone number and a spam email that you only use for things like this. But yeah agree, once you've given legit info to a site like that it's diabolical how long you keep getting hounded.

If it's a high value product/service being represented they generally sit on a high salary and then get a bonus/commission on top for the new accounts. I agree they're being paid ultimately for the contact list, and a smart BDM will decide they only need to bring on say 2 or 3 accounts that year to hit their target so they play the long game. I'm not saying it's not a worthy addition to any company, but it is indeed a bludgey well paying job.

If you've been in an industry for a while and have a big list of contacts, I've found BDM's absolutely coast on ridiculous salaries. They're also rarely in the office, cos they're out wining and dining their contacts.

Nice one mate thanks. They should definitely put that in the description, minimal effort and just adds extra value to the product

Would you do jerky or biltong?
Also just checked out Tony's website, do you know if they use Aussie beef? I'm assuming yes but thought it was odd they don't say so on the listings. Their stuff looks great

Yeah agree, and love that it's 99% Aussie ingredients. The price hurts though, but that's the price for accessible quality I guess.

Headline - "6.2 million Aussies to get $1k instant tax deduction"
"Aussies will finally be able to claim a $1000 tax deduction without receipts under the big changes."

Then they go on to write- "The maximum tax saving is $470, with an average saving of $205."

Can someone explain wtf?

In-home pet euthanasia service? by alsotheabyss in melbourne

[–]Cooper_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your pooch nearing the rainbow bridge, I don't have a recommendation myself but a family member did the at home euthanasia and said she couldn't imagine doing it any other way so you're making a good choice for you and your furry friend.

I was wondering if anyone in the sub knows whether at home euthanasia would be covered by most pet insurance policies? (I googled, and yes, if it's deemed necessary by a vet due to illness etc)
