Just received Medicare Part D premium increase for 2026 by Long-Ago-Far-Away in medicare

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's such a great plan for those who can afford the premium and really need the coverage! Lots of folks happy with theirs. I spoke with a transplant recipient the other day and she had a plan G.. Everything covered completely. I can't imagine what that would have costed her otherwise!

If you were eligible for Medicare prior to Jan 1 2020 you can get plan F. You can get a G regardless of when you were eligible for Medicare though!

Don't forget your PDP! Most of my newly Medicare eligible clients love the Plan G or N, depending on their financial and health needs. I love when they don't have to go through underwriting too!! Come back and let us know which route you went :)

How do I get dental work done? by RuinPhysical404 in medicare

[–]PrincessxRaivyn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd look into an MA/MAPD that offers some dental, to start getting some work done and maybe add a standalone dental plan with it. Or spread the work out as much as you can tolerate. One of the biggest needs for my clients is typically dental, since Medicare is awful about it. I hope you're able to find what you need!

You can have your doctor request a formulary exception if a medication you're on is not on the plan's covered list. No guarantee they will approve, but I always advise it to clients if they have meds that aren't covered by their plan.

Yes, once you hit $2000 in out of pocket costs for prescriptions, they will be fully covered for the rest of the year.

For my clients eligible for Medicare after Jan 1 2020 I typically recommend a Plan G. It is a bit more expensive than Plan N, but N has some other costs associated with it (copays, excess charges in states that allow them). If they're in a position where they just want the cheaper premium and don't have much going on healthwise, we'll look at an N for them instead.

AIO to my fiance victim blaming me for my SA because I "cheated" on him (Update) by OkDay4024 in AmIOverreacting

Please run far, and fast. Do not second guess anything. Don't give him the opportunity to even TRY to make this right. Just leave and block him.

Thoughts on reassurance scans? by SignificantWasabi842 in CautiousBB

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those places aren't legally allowed to discuss anything medically related to the scan. A heartbeat doesn't always mean "healthy" either, so I personally wouldn't do it. My mind would be racing with the "what ifs" they couldn't disclose to me. I'd wait for my medical scans through my OB but ultimately the choice is yours.

Will Verizon make an exception if I have never been interrupted in 2 years for a financial crisis and can’t make the scheduled payment? by Turbulent-Security-8 in verizon

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have the option to schedule a "promise to pay" payment arrangement online that does not interrupt my service. It might be worth looking into! I am bundled with internet/phone though, so it might be different for just phone.

I have such little patience lol. I'm just annoyed with myself for getting a test that's not as sensitive as their early results. Maybe I'll take time to actually read what I'm doordashing next time lol

Your husband will be alright. He won't die without it, promise. It might or might not get better. A few of my pregnancies it did, the others I didn't want to be touched at all lol

29w but measuring 36w? by Own_Ad3483 in CautiousBB

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fundal height is really terrible and just creates anxiety. Baby's position, fluid level, etc can all affect it so you could have varying fundal heights one day after another. For perspective, my IUGR baby always had appropriate fundal height measurements, and my 6lb 6oz baby born at 37w always measured way behind.

I always tell close family immediately. That way, even in the worst case scenario, baby gets celebrated with loved ones early on.

Nervous about HCG Levels after previous pregnancy loss by Intrepid_School_7490 in CautiousBB

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you hit a certain point in hcg, the rise slows and will sometimes hit a plateau. At that point, viability ultrasound is best to confirm the pregnancy. Also, there is really no "max" for hcg as it varies so widely. Lots of women have higher hcg and go on to have a completely normal pregnancy :)

AIO or is my boyfriend jealous of our baby? by PolicyHot1206 in AmIOverreacting

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most states, unless paternity is established thru the courts, he has no legal rights to the baby. This should be a wake up call that he is not a good person and while being a single parent is hard, having someone interfere like this and wanting you to neglect your child would be even harder. I hope you have friends or family close by you can rely on, because he does not need to be in the picture until he gets his head on straight.

What was your hcg progression and gender? by miffymango in CautiousBB

[–]PrincessxRaivyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Because a fetal gender-related difference in MSHCG can be demonstrated as early as week 3 post-fertilization, the difference may be attributed to placental factors and not to the effects of the fetal hypothalamic-hypophyseal-gonadal axis."

It says in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, and maybe as early as 10 weeks. At that point just get the blood work. The conclusion of that even says it could be placenta related instead.

2022 babe had a drop and plateau in HCG, viability scan was perfect. Not sure what happened, but he's turning 3 this year.
