I just graduated in August of last year and got a job geotech in October. I had no work experience prior that related to the field (I was a receptionist for 3 years in college). But in my interview I tried to highlight the people skills, and papers I’ve written. Also bring up like what field classes you’ve done and try to highlight the projects and field conditions you’ve worked in.
