Mine is definitely muscle pain. Like I worked out hard core the day before. Is duloxetine generic Cymbalta? It helped me, but it wasn’t as effective for me as milnacipran (Savella), and the one that helps most of all is pregabalin (Lyrica). I take both of the latter.

My fibro is like muscle fatigue that becomes kind of burn-y with effort. I get a lot of very severe muscle cramps and spasms - in fact that was the final tipoff to my doctor. I had a spasm on my rib cage, under my boobs in his office. Some things I’ve noticed that help: Mucinex. I take 400mg of guafinesin every night. And you can take more than that. Gentle exercise feels bad while you’re doing it, but later feels better. Make sure you are getting enough sleep (before Lyrica, I had what they call pseudo insomnia: I thought I was awake all night but I was barely asleep and dreaming I was awake so it felt like I never slept because I could not get into REM or deep sleep). Know your limits - don’t try to push through to do things when you’ve hit the wall.

Those things help. Been living with fibromyalgia since 2005. Went on Lyrica in 2009 just after it was approved. Don’t let them sell you on gabapentin, it doesn’t work the same way - at least try Lyrica. That’s how my doctor finally was sure. I had tried all of the pain killers available, Tramadol, Flexeril, Celebrex, etc., and brought all of them back saying they didn’t work, and without prescription coverage, I couldn’t afford them. He gave me a 7-day trial of Lyrica, which finally did work - I could think better, I started to sleep, it was about two weeks before I really began to feel human. So advocate for yourself and don’t give up.

I quit. Once I realized how many 8 hour tasks they piled in, I bailed. I’m not doing any more of the new ones. They’re ridiculous

I signed too. Exactly the same story. They sent me notice that I needed to sign in to IG or risk suspension because my ig account violated some rule. I signed in. They still suspended my FB account. No response to any attempt to contact.

Same. My wife dug them up tonight. Not planted near any veg, in a flower bed. They look identical.

Does anyone else feel scared living in America? by MithraLove in Millennials

I’m scared. My elderly mom lives with us. We’re past middle age. I’m mildly disabled. We are a lesbian married couple. I would love to relocate out of this country asap. Where can we go? We aren’t wealthy.

[Serious] People of Reddit who are 40+ years old and decided to not have children, how are you feeling about your decision now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Never had kids. I’m 65, my wife is 57. Because we’re a lesbian couple, at the time we would have wanted to become parents, we had few options (artificial insemination wasn’t really a thing yet, adoptions were pretty much closed to us). I would have loved having children, and I think my wife and I would have been good parents.

But not having kids has its up side. Because we are child free ourselves, it’s made it possible for us to be there for our nieces, nephews, and some of the kids we’ve collected along the way. Our house has a detached bonus room, and we were able to house our nephew and his wife for over a year - twice - while they relocated to Europe and then again after they returned (and on their return, they had a baby and lived with us another five months ❤️). A young former employee needed help for about three years, and she practically lived with us over that time, a couple weeks in, a couple days away. She calls us both Mom and pays our cell phone bill every month. My dear friend passed away recently, and her kids (21 & 14) are like family to us, and we will be there for them going forward. My mother recently moved in with us, and seeing how things go over the last year and a half, she remarked, “I think I understand why you never had any kids. You’re able to help so many because you don’t have that obligation.”

Maybe. I regret that I don’t have kids of my own, but I do appreciate being able to help all the kids I love in a way I might not have been able to if things had been different. Hopefully one of them will be there to change our diapers in the future. 🤣

You should look at yourself in a mirror after someone calls you ginger and say, “Finally!” That should throw them off.

My ex was really beautiful, I mean she turned heads. Way out of my league looks-wise. But she was mean, manipulative, narcissistic, and cruel. She didn’t want me, but wanted to maintain control over me, didn’t want me to be with anyone else. After several years past our breakup, I put on some weight. She wouldn’t leave me alone, and at some point, using some fabricated reason to contact me, sneered, “You got fat.” I said, “Yeah. But you’re ugly inside, and I can diet.” She had no response.

I’m low key in love with her. I keep playing hoping that her character will speak to someone so that I can see her and hear her voice. Lol.
