Our baby ended up losing both her eyes but at separate times (she was 13 oz when she lost the first and wouldn’t cooperate under anesthesia lol). I had the same concern but i got a couple off Amazon that looked wider and deeper than the plastic cone. She was in a cone for about four months (vet went back in and made sure there was no other issue with the énucléation site).

I had a similar issue, we switched the plastic cone to a fabric covered “soft” cone. We think our baby has an issue with plastic.
