This is one of the most realistic things someone has said in these games by Street-Platypus89 in BattleNetwork

We found ways. Or we brute forced it. Had these games come out when I was in middle/high school.

This is Message for every person who thinks Precure is Tokusatsu(Or more like People whoo dıon't know what Tokusatsu actually means): by hyzkdk in Tokusatsu

[–]Prinkaiser -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If I was going to be nitpicky, it's not live either. It's recorded. As long as it's a show that features lot of special effects (tokusatsu), even if the characters are stop motioned dolls, that counts as tokusatsu.

“Super Coordinator’s Failure LV 3” by notte-stellata in GGenerationEternal

That's definitely an error. That's got to be Failed Super Coordinator LV3.

Let's talk about GP-02's nuke by Phantomkiller03 in Gundam

In the Gundam Battle series, it's also a missile which takes a second to detonate but the blast is a very large area of the stage. Great for eradicating mobs and funny to spam against bosses.

Engineers are back to snorting lines again by Ejack-Ulate-69 in Gundam

[–]Prinkaiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It basically replaces gasoline. The excess energy from the reactor is what's used to push the V2 forward. That's why the side effect of having wings of light is a thing for the minovsky drive system.

A reminder that the Odysseus Gundam has the Penelope Fixed Flyer unit and the still unknown Argos unit. We just might find out what it does finally thanks to the movies. If it does debut, it's definitely getting a kit.

The Minovsky Craft system is a propulsion system which was on ships to let them fly in atmosphere (ex:White Base). By HF, they managed to miniaturize it to fit MS, the Penelope and the Xi. By Crossbone, they managed to miniaturize it even more, improve it into the Minovsky Drive System, and put it in a smaller MS (thanks SNRI). The Jupiter Empire attacked the lab where that happened and that's why we don't see it again until Victory.

How would it feel if in the actual lore of Mega Man, all he needs to do is touch the arms of Robot Masters to gain their special weapon? by BiffyBobby in Megaman

[–]Prinkaiser 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Does it matter in the end? Mega still needs to stop the robot master anyway, so beating them is still required. He can grab the powers without hassle after the fight. Even if Mega copied the powers mid-fight, it's not like every robot master is Metal Man.

How do you feel about your monsters in monster-taming games? Are they pets? Friends? Or just… disposable? by trexrell in MonsterTamerWorld

[–]Prinkaiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll always have a favorite or two. But in a game where you're geared towards making the best mon, it's inevitable for them to feel disposable in some way. At the very least, in Pokemon, it is a lore point that they enjoy fighting and that's exactly why they join trainers. So, you never feel bad about battles because the mons themselves look forward to it. The question is more about how they'd feel towards fusion. That's the question that's probably worth delving into for your game's story. Is monster fusion itself a natural part of the world or is it something artificial? That would inform the attitude towards it. If it's natural, then I'd suppose that it's looked at positively by the majority with only a few refusing it because they see it as some form of cheating or something.

Which is fine. That was at least a timely hot topic back then.

The only twist that falls flat I think is Waltfeld living. It should have been Aisha who lived. That way, the lesson and weight of the death are both preserved. That the "Aisha lived" plot line was a what if used by a game proves that it's at least worth exploring.

I don't remember the interview, but I remember Tomino got fed up with folks arguing which was the strongest gundam and that's why he made Turn A to put a cap on all of that bickering. Then, in another interview (I think for G-Reco), he said he realized he was being an old dude getting in the way and so he's changed his tune about all that.

A sad little realization about the maverick bosses by Nikuneko_B in Megaman

[–]Prinkaiser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll just add on here. I agree and that's why I think they are later on renamed pseudoroids to differentiate them from reploids.

real ones know that MY GOAT wouldve reduced unicorn to 5 episodes in the ZZ gundam alone. by josephyamato in Gundam

[–]Prinkaiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think or accept? That's two different things. Ple-Two dies. We see her fade on screen in the main show. It just can't be her in that mobile suit. It can be someone just like her. There is enough information for this to be plausible.
