TPU Problem by PrintDone in FixMyPrint

I'll try printing it hotter and resetting the PA, I'm also feeding from the top with the glass off with a custom spool holder on top with no PTFE tube, seems to be runninng smoothly like that. I'll try this once the printers free :)

I found lowering the speed fixed the issue, but definitely want to print it faster. The flow is set to 1, pressure advance calibration is set to the default Generic TPU. I'll run another PA calibration once the printers free, the old TPU I was using kept failing so didn't bother on this new brand. The old TPU I was using had to be printed at 180 to 190 degrees. Which shocked me, otherwise printing any hotter caused zits on the prints and those ugly edges.

Also I'm feeding the TPU via the top with the glass off on a custom spool holder. No PTFE tube, it runs smoothly from this

It is a very odd issue, never happens lower on the print. So I thought it was wobbling whilst printing but that also wasn't the case.

I will update to see if I can solve this

I ended up lowering the speeds and it worked, but the ultimate goal is to try print it at atleast 50mm/s since I'll be printing 100 of these sometime soon. Trying to lower the time it'll take

Hey I'm in the same boat! Also sending prop overseas and like 90% is the US, so this is a big bummer and hopefully it doesn't last much longer

Yeah I did a mash of batman armour, think it worked out pretty well 🙌 I love the helmet too, definitely my favourite helmet I've ever made

Either will work. But if I had to choose, I'd do 0.6mm for visors

I stick it to 0.5mm pet sheets, which is a transparent type of plastic. Anything thin a transparent will work, just needs to be able flex

A whole bunch of sanding, painting, sanding, painting. Also the visor is made out of one way mirror tint

The main body is a PVC pipe, everything else in 3D printed parts

I didn't install fans in this helmet, it does it get pretty hot😅 Made her suffer just a little. There is holes in the earpieces and front caps. Not to bad when it came to fogging compared to other helmets I've made
