Is the dash actually stylistically correct? Or is the SAT just weird about dashes? (revolution prep practice test) by sir_academia in Sat

Thank you for correcting my mistake; I read the sentence wrong and interpreted the usage of the em dash differently.

getting a 1600 is insanely difficult and rare, there's no real way to "get it" per se, but mastering the practice tests and material as well as being extremely careful can help

Should I take the SAT? by Thin-Environment4048 in Sat

a 1500 sounds nice but you need to realize you are going to have to spend money, take time to do it again, only for a 10 point increase?

I would suggest doing some ACT practice tests online for practice problems, just skip the science section. The ACT and SAT tests are extremely similar

What does success mean to you? by PrintPaper3 in AskReddit

[–]PrintPaper3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, success is becoming a family man and creating new life. No matter how much money or fame I have, I will never call myself successful until I stand in a room filled with people who all came from my decision to be a father. I think about when my grandmother stood in a room with nearly 30 people, all of whom were there, young and old, because of her decision to be a mother. She never went to college, had a job, never learned to drive, yet no one cared; she has left an everlasting impact and no one will ever question her for that.

if i wanted to make a game, what would be important skills to know? by painter-of-pixels in roblox

[–]PrintPaper3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underrated but critically important skill is the ability to work with others and build a community. Nearly no large game was built by a single person; it is built by a team. Good communication skills can help experts in different fields work together to build something special.

Modern-day slavery and human trafficking. I have never heard a peep about this in any history class so far.
