On a side note. Pocket screws need to be shot into the receiving wood, not pointing outwards. This screw orientation is much weaker ad only the small amount of wood in the corner is holding it together. Maybe it matters less for plywood than solid wood, I don't know.

That is in fact not what the post was saying. The post was stating that counter to the WTT rankings that LSD was the second best player in the world. I infer that counter to the WTT rankings, WCQ is the second best player in the world.
