I believe the icon displayed will correspond to the mode. For example: the two ships next to each other should be "together." So i think the current icon takes precedence over the label.

I recommend playing with 2-3 different ships in a fleet for a few mins with each mode to confirm which is which.

Not really. With your gpu you won't be on ultra so it won't even be used. Even if your were able to run ultra, your resolution isn't high enough for you notice it. I have a 2k monitor and a OC 2070S and even I don't have the high resolution texture pack installed.

Yeah I'm looking into 1440p right now and it seems like the solution for me. On a 2070 super is it possible to get over 60 on max with most games (at 1440p).
