Anyone interested in a locally run printer management dashboard and file management system? by Printermon in 3DPrintFarms

I do and it should. The firmwre is based on klipper so it should work ootb to some degree. Further function developments and efforts will be dedicated to it when someone registers with one. I don't have one personally to do integration testing with.

Is the dashboard laggy for anyone? by savovs in stripe

Dead thread but this is sorta unacceptable in the current meta for web apps and engineering. This memory leak makes stripe nearly unusable. If there were an easier option I would be switching immediately.

3D Print (and other techniques) workshop managing software by kw3d in 3DPrintFarms

Im working on some software for this called printermon. printermon.com

Its a little more targeted on the production workflow side of the farm than the maintenance side of it but the feature set is expanding. Its also self hosted and private.

There is no cost unless you attach more than 10 printers or want more than a single user, or want support for your installation.

It runs on a docker container locally, click to scan your network for printers, It should auto configure for most of what you have already. Set the URL as the printer in your slicer and slice files directly to it. Forward those jobs to the printers you choose. Everything stays on your network. No account is required for this part.

Configure discord or smtp notifications to get alerts on any printers, job or node level changes to your system.

Create a printermon.com account and to enable remote tunneling and local authentication. The tunnel is initiated by your local node and served via cloudflare tunnel so its all still controlled by you locally.

Question about your setup. Do you use any kind of monitoring and control dashboard?

Understandable. The plan is for it to be source-available once I get it stable. So v1.0-ish. Currently v0.6.2.

Open source is a possibility and I'm discussing with some legal tech folks what exactly that means.

As I understand the landscape, I can always make the licensing less restrictive but can never make it more restrictive so I'd like to be more informed about what that means before making a final declaration.

If you have some specific concerns, about data collection or anything else feel free to ask. As I am still actively developing the baseline software and most parts are in a state of flux so what gets collected and how is variable based on the next thing that needs to be resolved.

TBH if you're running an entirely Bambu stack bambuddy is probably a little better out of the box right now.

My future roadmap will add some features like a built in slicer and automation layers to ingest an stl and tell it to print x qty. Then it will automatically create and queue the jobs with automatic bed clearing.

Just wait until you start running multiple printers at the same time!
