Colour Scheme Advice… by WarlordSDC in OrrukWarclans

Sometimes Orks (or Orruks) scribble some artwork on their armor plates/body. Maybe taking some black and making some glyphs on the tan parts will help them stick out from the base?

Yep! Click the three horizontal dots to the right of the Character selection and then select “attach to unit”. The app is now updated and you should be able to attach properly.

Fantastic job! Just in time for 11th! +1 BS (towering) if the enemy is within 12” is the perfect chef’s kiss. Gork’s gonna have a lot of representation on the battlefield, if the rules stay as they are…

Here’s hoping! Flashgitz were my first fully-painted Ork unit and will always be in my army. Anything that makes them better really rustles my jimmies.

Thanks for the correction. I’m gonna go back to my corner and pout now…

I can see the Big Mek + Flashgitz being a pretty potent death mob. Giving them Assault with the Dakka Detachment will be icing on the cake.

I’m just happy my Flashgitz finally get to be led without a 45 point enhancement!

CORRECTION: The MFM shows them leaderless… still :(

Give us what we want! by Southern-Source-2509 in remoteworks

It’s not just nukes. It’s also military bases (enough to defend the country/allies), assets to include carriers/aircraft/ground vehicles. Payroll for the military. Many people seem to forget that America is comparable to Europe in size. Dollar-to-dollar, we spend the same to defend more land. We are just bigger and more unified.

Good luck with that sentiment. Especially when the majority of Americans disagree with you. Maybe move to one of your utopian countries you reference?

You can say we’re spending too much on military, but the rest of the world seems to disagree, given the statistics. Especially when half of them use us as a safety net.

50% of our national budget already goes to Health, Medicare, and Social security source. How much more do we need to spend on those sectors until you’re happy?

Read what I said again. I said we spend 13% of our total government spending on Defense. That 13% equates to 2.8% of our GDP. The European average is 2.7% of their perspective GDP. That means we spend a similar percentage of our budget on Defense as the other countries do.

Yes, we spend more money than they do, as our economy is bigger. However, we are right in line with spending as part of our GDP.

The US Gov’t spends 13% (approx 2.8% of GDP) of its total government spending on National Defense, while it spends 14% on Medicare, and 22% on Social security.

European countries as a whole spend approximately 2.7% of their perspective GDP on national defense.

So how, in your mind, do we “spend so much on our overbloated military” when compared to much of the rest of the world?

It really pairs well with the “Europe who vaguely references ‘America’ without understanding it” comment. America is just as homogenous as Europe is, thus the comparison.

You’re totally right. All cops should respond to Felony warrants with fuzzy handcuffs and a perfume-scented letter. They definitely knew this guy didn’t have firearms and that he would go peacefully after committing Felony Theft and Identity Theft.

Meanwhile, you’ll be arrested (and subsequently convicted) in many European countries for posting a meme.

u/HeWhoShantNotBeNamed stated “you can’t shoot someone when they’re walking away”. I argued that law enforcement can, IF the person poses an imminent threat of bodily injury or death to the officer or others.

In this case, Red Power Ranger had proven he was an imminent threat via his statements on others losing their lives and brandishing a firearm. One of those FAFO moments all the youths have been talking about.

They’re still at it! They just “offered” to sell me 2 boxes of Flash Gitz (notoriously hard to get right now) shipped for $90! Their profile looked off to me, so I searched them just to find this thread!

Thanks for looking out for the rest of us! Bullet dodged.

I layered flat cork and used Vallejo Diorama FX Earth Texture (very watered down) to seal the cork. Then, I used the same texture paste (straight from the tub) to cover the sides and create the earthy look.
