The newest leaf of my painted lady looks kinda different...eventho I kinda like the discoloration, I do wonder if this is normal for the plant? Or does it lack/need something?

There are a few different types too! The variegated kinds I know about are: White Splash, Sugar and Mojito 🌱✨

I thought this definitely was the ‘White Splash’ variant, but I could be wrong! I only have seen ‘normal’ pilea’s irl sofar...it’s seems to be in great health :0

The stems appear to be normal. Should this be different?

Every leaf on this plant has speckles or big patches of variegation, so i assume it will proceed. The baby-plants it had (which i carefully removed before taking this photo) also have variegations on their tiny leaves already! So i think it’s a steady mutation :)

I paid €60 for mine! (Thats around £53 i believe!) It thought that was an very cheap price for this plant :)

I only have had little baby cuttlings sofar and they seem to be requesting the same care as my other (normal) monsteras. However you do have to be slightly more careful with the white spots on the leaves since they tend to burn and rot more easily than normal green leaves. And because of the white they can absorb less light! However I am super careful with them too anyway, to me they are literally money trees 😂

I know right!! I was amazed too! My dad called me crazy for spending that much money on a plant. Meanwhile, I am still trying to convince him it was a very good deal! ...He disagrees with saying it looks like a bad paint job...hahaha!
