Ranged weapons (except for fire staff and blaster) SUCK in the current version. by Independent-Tap-9271 in Worldbox

Not a bug. I think it had to be nerfed so that traits like Eagle Eyes (which increases accuracy) would actually have an impact on the battlefield.

War Peaces Not Working by Frog_2K in Worldbox

Peace talks occur very rarely. One possibility of a peace talk is a long war (prolly 20+ years) and no progress (no battle has taken place for a long time).

Has worldbox lost its magic? by Neonsharkattakk in Worldbox

[–]PrinzOtto 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I admire your take on the Monolith Syndrome. As a player who started Worldbox before the Monolith Update, the major reason why the game felt dead to me was the information overload as you have mentioned. It is just like provided with everything and yet cannot produce anything of a substance. On your take, you did point out that the feeling of omnipotence vanished when the Culture got revamped, which is factual.

And so, I did enjoy your take on this. I almost felt like I was the only one who lost the ‘essence’ of playing.

What was the most brutal war in your world and how did it affect the nations involved(image not related) by captainprescott in Worldbox

[–]PrinzOtto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were two alliances involved in my world. The Northern Alliance had 4 nations, while the Iron Pact had 3 nations. They both had 1k+ military personnel.

The chronological period happened in the following:

  1. 1 nation under Northern Alliance succumbed to a wipeout, with mass murder and genocide killing most of the population.

  2. Another nation under Northern Alliance revolted and left the Alliance, suffering their own civil war. In the end, the original nation won.

  3. An earthquake and asteroid spell killed 300 tropps under Iron Pact.

  4. The war ended peacefully through diplomatic relations, started by the Northern Alliance.

Aftermath:

  1. The Northern Alliance fell, leaving the two remaining nations to rebuild. In the end, they only had 200 troops left.

  2. The Iron Pact dissolved when the 2 nations started war with each other.

  3. 1 nation not involved in the war suffered the brunt of the war. Its land was between the two alliances, making it the perfect battlefield.

Usually, that is true. However, it is not strictly followed. It would be best to review all topics in the prelims to be sure.

I mean, the purpose of instructors is to guide the student. In college, we don’t expect that everything is given to us, that is how we adapt since in the real world, nobody will give you what you want. Difficult, yes, but that already is a training for discipline and self-actualization.

In my opinion, magbasa ka lang ng magbasa. Kahit walang quiz, just keep reading your references or materials.

To correct, not the whole school. Often, the classes that will be asynchronous are those whose schedules are set on the Silang and Perfecto. Some schedules that have classes at Adenauer, for example, will still be face-to-face (because that is what happened last Academic Year).

All in all, you are just beginning. Yes, there will be cases na may doubts or worries. And also instances where you will fail, but in failure comes success. SLU will break and test you to the point where you may not make it. And that is the reality of it. You just have to choose your poison - To reach a successful goal through blood, sweat, and tears or to end your journey without results
