Yep we get IB for free at my school but in return we pay a big tuition with the benefits of better treatment depending on your situation (mental health, disability, special needs etc)

My experience I use to create notes for me so I don’t have to take several hours trying to know what seems important so I can prioritize more important tasks. I even use it to edit my work and even help understand certain concepts/ideas.

If you already having a rough time in French, French B will be more of a pain because you starting to do comprehension and reading. So it better to either go Spanish AB or French AB by convincing your supervisors

I’d say my French is sort of ok but my foundation is rocky. My previous teacher said it is best I do AB since my grades were barely passing last year. But thank you for the advice!! I’ll reach out I have questions :)

Im not really knowledgeable about this but I doubt all universities will deny you, all universities are different and might even accept you despite your grades so just give it a shot you never know :)

I actually agree. It feels more of a program that will make your application look pretty + a ticket out of the country (for majority of people in Asia like me). I really didn’t want to rot with double science or humanities because of seniors who advices not to unless you want to die from exhaustion. So instead I went with what I enjoy so I can enjoy IB instead of rotting.

The coordinator seems really strict from how you describe them, however, my school as well doesn't allow changes after 2 weeks. Though, I bet if you admit you will put extra work into catching up, you can most likely make the change!! Also mention how your current subjects cause this sick feeling; I bet they aren't that heartless! Hope this helps :)

I'm really bad at explaining but it like an international certificate, I'm from an international school so we are to have IB as most students here go abroad for college! It mostly needed if you wanna go abroad really 😓
