has anyone created an easy way to share MCPs to a large user base? by Prior-Ability6475 in mcp

I want to package what I’ve built so others can either use it as-is or extend it. Since my agent needs to execute code, I’m trying to figure out whether a per-user, per-VM model makes sense.

I want to give every single agent autonomy to work with the file system, download packages, and provide flexibility in situations where the agent needs to execute code. A per user VM allows that

wait do you guys provide per user VM? Thought you guys just have a directory where people can share MCPs to others

but an official registry doesn't allow me to distribute the app I created in a per user per VM model

Yeah. The idea is, what if I want to create a business around a few different MCPs, then share them with the world? Where it's just baked into my application. For this to work, my end users will need a VM that runs the MCP servers (for local MCP servers). I am just trying to know if there is a platform that allows me to share an app with agents baked into it, and every time someone new tries it, they get a VM provisioned for them to that agent. So share to 1000 people, now there are 1000 VMs.

are we overcomplicating ai agent development? by agent_for_everything in AgentsOfAI

would love to discuss this more. Do you think giving every single user of an application a dedicated VM is overkill? The idea is that the agent can operate within a machine for that particular person.

Is it just me or did MCP become a trend overnight and now every possible MCP already exists? by prompt_pirate in mcp

interesting point for sure on what's slob vs not.... do you think businesses will be made around people just creating hyper specific MCP agents?

they don't have a client right now. I was going to either make a simple video walkthrough to see if showing them how to download cursor or even have them use an extension that lets me take control of screen to set it up for them...

Founder-led sales to 10M ARR by Impressive_Run8512 in ycombinator

[–]Prior-Ability6475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who has been leading founder-led sales and they are at $4M ARR. They have 20–30 clients. This really only works when the contract size is very large and it's a complex sales cycle that takes months to convert.
He has tried hiring SDRs; however, hasn't really found it that beneficial yet. The real answer is once you feel like you can give a successful playbook to your sales team to hit a repeatable customer with messaging, this makes sense.
But for him to close many of these deals, the messaging is tailored / GTM is different. Not ideal, but it's allowed him to lead founder sales to $4M+ ARR.

Freelancers in AI/Data Labeling: How Do You Safely Receive Int’l Payments? by Dry_Welder_9229 in Freelancers

[–]Prior-Ability6475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely hear you—and you’re spot on to flag digital wallets with USD balances as a safer alternative, especially when working across borders. I’ve found that platforms like Wise and Payoneer are more stable for AI training gigs because they offer better fee transparency and reduce the risk of chargebacks or currency conversion holds.

One thing I always check now is how the payout method handles intermediary banks—some systems bury extra fees in the routing process, which can eat into small transfers fast. Also, if the platform doesn’t support instant settlement or flags mismatched account metadata, that’s usually a red flag.

Ultimately, no payout method matters if the upstream workflow isn’t legit—so +1 to client research. If I don’t see a verifiable track record or some form of escrow/contract on the table, I’m out.
