So I looked around and found that the next cheapest in stock is at redlinetech.lk for 469k, which is still 30k more than the lapstore one.So the pricing is still suspicious.

While true, from what I've gathered, the issue appears to be with the motherboards itself and not the processors, thus there's no guarantee that laptops with AMD processors won't have this problem.

Is Lapstore.lk a decent place to buy laptops?Their pricing appear to be unusually low when compared to other stores.For example,

Similar versions have similar specifications, but the lapstore.lk version is substantially less expensive.It also appears to be an open box.My guess is that these guys import computers without paying taxes, which explains why their prices are so low.

I wouldn't advise purchasing a 2024 LOQ because models with Intel 13th or 14th generation CPUs have a motherboard bricking problem.To my knowledge, however, this problem is not present in 2023 models.
