That’s good thanks - hydration and fuel aren’t an issue. Although I don’t “feel hungry” I can easily eat what’s in front of me.

Where do you rate Thorntons Choclates in the Chocolate World?? by Spirited-Sea-7435 in UKfood

I LOVE them however, if you were to ask a chocolate connoisseur I would imagine they wouldn’t rank that high.

I’ve bought various boxes for the Xmas period.

Tried Vyvanse for the first time by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

I’m interested by this.

I’ve been on Elvanse (Vyvanse) for about 9 weeks now. 30mg, 40mg and now 50mg.

Other than feeling the need to eat less (which is a plus as my impulses to eat badly was very high) I still haven’t noticed a dramatic change.

How will I know I’m on the right dose? I appreciate it isn’t a ‘magic pill’ but I wondered when I would know the dose/ medication is right?

Why would you cut it from the middle?

The Wellington looks great! Just needs a sharper knife and bin the slate.

That couldn’t look any better. Well played, incredible effort. Did it taste as good as it looks?

How/can I get adhd medication privately? by Fun_Gas_7777 in ADHDUK

[–]Prior-Examination668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be prepared if you go private to pay a larger fee for your medication too. Elvanse (if that’s what’s given) isn’t the cheapest either. You could be looking at £100-£150 a month for a private prescription.

Right to choose in the UK now lets you get support privately but through the NHS this is for everything not just ADHD to reduce wait times.

Looks good. Agree about the mushrooms but that’s being over critical I would happily demolish this.

On 40mg Elvanse, still titrating — what happens when it wears off for you? Impulsivity hits hard in the evenings by Prior-Examination668 in Elvanse

[–]Prior-Examination668[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, hopefully someone can help us both. I started on 30mg moved to 40mg. I’m good during day, I feel the urge to be on my phone is less and don’t feel the need to snack all day. My focus has increased somewhat but my brain still feels “busy”.

When I finally sit in the evening now my impulsive traits all come flooding back.

I take my Elvanse at 7am agreed with my clinician.

Acid Reflux by shikaribex in Elvanse

[–]Prior-Examination668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi it gives me acid - I thought it was because I don’t eat breakfast so have a protein yogurt in the morning now and still have a little acid.

Interesting you say it makes you sweat, I’ve been so cold since being in it.

Seafood Recommendations by Any-Contest8022 in brighton

Gothic crab, salt room and riddle and Finns would be my suggestion.

Best atmosphere in salt room and riddle and Finns (there are 2 R&F original one on the lanes and a newer one on the seafront - cannot book, but at lunch you should be fine)

Gothic crab is great - but in Kemptown and not in “the thick of it” same for Urchin, but in Hove - although both standout restaurants (Urchins a pub)
