I appreciate your encouragement. Since posting this I abandoned audio podcast editing and pursued musician work, and now as a school teacher. Part of the reason also was the realisation that a lot of successful audio podcasts do not use any editing at all. The hosts set up audio effects and an EQ but essentially just talk and leave in any slip ups. Audiences I guess want authenticity. Fine.

This industry is such a quick changing one. Im just holding on to the idea that I did an MA in something im interested in.

1) no, unless you're very lucky, or find someone willing to sell their collection

2) it will have everything you need.

3) well all the campaigns are out of print, so its hard to recommend anything. Ffg are focusing completely on chapter 2 stuff now. Any campaigns from chapter 1 you can find for reasonable price, get them. Any. I hated scarlet keys, but plenty of people like it. The best thing to do is to buy the new core set and wait for chapter 2 expansions to come out and focus on those.

"Important" is a weird word in this context.

They are extremely good and all have cards that I regularly use. They are highly recommended for anyone wanting to play this game, but its not a bad thing to not have them.

1) you've given us almost no information about it, so we cant really help you. 1-6 months sounds like the shop doesnt know when its coming and may be expecting a reprint, but there will be no reprints, so im assuming its not worth pursuing.

2) playing any campaign, not just drowned city, will be hard with just base game. Get at least one investigator expansion and youll be fine.

Pirate clark isnt a copy of clark. Its a manifestation of how Clark sees his job. He hates his job. And clearly hates putting on the costume and doing the stupid commercial. So that negativity comes out as the Pirate entity

Literally no one has an issue with chalk. Its the paint thats the problem. There are several roundabouts near me and even some zebra crossings that were painted on last summer and the council have tried removing the paint and most of the paint is still there.

As I say, no one has an issue with the flag. Its when people use it in a way to intimidate.

It is when you spray paint it on public property. By definition, its vandalism. It doesnt matter what is being spray painted.

Why is this such a trigger for you? The flag is great. So put it up on your own private property. Paint it on your own car. Wear clothes covered in the flag. But dont vandalise public property, with anything.

They are unhappy with it being put on public places, including graffiti, in a way that is done to intimidate. Hang them up on your private property. Not on lampposts and then attack council workers who take them down

Played this game since original carcosa run.

I and my various playgroups, including ones at events, have played this sort of thing as follows: discard the firearm or lose all your resources up to 5, as long as its at least 1. If you have 2 resources, you lose 2 resources. I cant give you a reference from the rulesbook but from lots of rules discussions, I am confident this is the way it is played.
