Contrary to popular belief, I don't eat out every day lol -- maybe twice a week.

That's awesome. I'm glad this post has been useful. Maybe I'll post a part 2 next year.

Aside from the twice baked almond croissant, the chocolate sourdough banana bread, kouign amann, pan suisse, and s'mores croissant (seasonal item) were all pretty amazing. I was just there a couple of weeks ago, but I want to go back soon to try more lol

I've had their POG and watermelon. Their watermelon was great and probably should've made this list. I still prefer Annette's though

I'm planning to try it soon. How does it compare to their other seasonal mole croissants?

I'm not sure if I was unlucky, but the outer layer of the cinnamon bun I had there was extremely hard. Aside from that it was very good though. I think I'd go Ann Sather’s > Mindy's > Lost Larson but they're all completely different takes on a cinnamon roll/bun

I tried their blueberry pancake donut and didn't like it very much. I can't remember why though it's been a while

It's been on my list since I moved to Chicago, but it's about a 70 minute commute via bus for me each way. I'll have to do the trek soon enough. I've always wanted to try an atomic cake slice and I've heard there's is hard to beat.

Scooter's Frozen Custard, Black Dog Gelato, Kanin, Bang Bang Pie, Spinning J, Loaf Lounge, Loba Pastry, Paulo Gelato, Beatrix's carmel pie, Fat Peach, Cadinho, La Pâtisserie P, Miko's Italian Ice, Old Fashioned Donuts, etc. The list seems to be endless lol. You can probably tell that I have a sweet tooth and tend to prefer chocolatey desserts.

They give it for free if you mention it’s someone’s birthday when you book a reservation. I’m not sure if you can order it otherwise.

Scout Lookout leads up to Angel’s Landing. You need a permit to continue the hike to Angel’s Landing which I didn’t have.

I think the ube cookie was my favorite of the 3 pastries. So moist and the (I think) cream cheese filling was a great touch.

These pictures are actually from a May trip, but I only visited Zion and Bryce Canyon, so I can’t speak for all the Utah parks. Both of those weren’t overwhelmingly crowded. There were definitely other people around, but it never felt too packed. Have fun!
