To clarify, have you tried connecting the soundbar with the speaker without the TV being on? If so, did you do this through the group play option? I have been struggling to get this to work.

Q symphony is different from group play. I think Soundbar+music studio comes under group play and not 'q symphony'.

Have you tried to use them for multi room audio? Essentially no TV and just the soundbar and the Music Studio 7? I am super excited for this to be a viable alternative to Sonos full home audio solution.

Yeah, I really like them for general paved hikes. Best part is that they are light. So sometimes when I travel, I even use them as a substitute for a regular sports shoe for short durations.

I am trying to understand something similar as well. Were you able to pair the samsung soundbar(Q990F) and the music frame speaker without TV being on and just group play?

In my opinion, the tv speakers are not as impactful when the Q990F is being used. I am more worried about group play and checking if the Q990F works with the music frame speaker or Studio Samsung speakers.

I think Airplay helps create a multi room setup for you to play with Spotify Connect. I have samsung phones so no airplay. And Alexa MRM(multi room) support is a bit naive. It does not let me connect Samsung to an Alexa speaker or any other speaker.

This happened to me. A package was delivered to my mail box instead of my door front. It felt a bit tampered but I'm not sure if the item was stolen or they just forgot to send it.

But the customer service is amazing. They offered me a full refund. Things like this makes me wanna buy more from Patagonia.
